As a wedding photographer, I've been to amazing venues, and Corin Forest Mountain Resort really took it up a notch when providing a unique experience to their wedding couples! My client had an outdoor wedding here, and the breathtaking open space surrounded by trees really created a beautiful atmosphere for their celebration. And the rustic lodge we had for the reception was also perfect for a large crowd of guests. The highlight of that day was definitely the Alpine Slide. It was a fun activity the newlyweds and the rest of the bridal party tried out after the ceremony.

The staff and amenities didn't disappoint, making the venue all the more memorable. So, if you want a venue with breathtaking views, exceptional service, and adventurous activities, then look no further!

Fun day out with the family and our son got to experience snow for the first time. It was a nice scenic drive to Corin and staff were helpful with directing traffic for parking when we arrived. We had pre booked our snow play. Everything had clear signs which made navigating from collecting our snow gear to our snow play area easy. Staff at the toboggan and snow play rental were friendly and provided clear instructions. Snow was plentiful and sliding down with the toboggan was safe and enjoyable. Although they were booked out, it wasn't as crowded.

Great during the winter months as they have a slope and play area and also a snow boarding area. You can rent snow clothes and boots and even taboggans and other equipment. Prices are very reasonable and when you are done you can go into the building and have something to eat and sit be the roaring fireplace.
Perfect place to visit with kids because you’re guaranteed a snow experience without the unpredictable winter weather.
Great fun for all ages

Highly recommend.
All of the staff went out of their way to help us to have a great experience at Corin Forest. Absolute glowing praise for all the staff we encountered. I took my four children for a day of lessons and all our hiccups were ironed out for us with little fuss.
I received advice and patience with my personal skis, well above and beyond what they were required to help with. My children's gear was fitted with care, a smile and friendly chat.
Our experience with teaching staff and staff on the slope was fantastic too and again, they went above and beyond to provide a memorable experience, offering advice and assistance at every turn, even when it was above their responsibility.
The ticketing staff happily swapped my youngest two over to a first time lesson on short notice from a beginner lesson - but be advised they can probably only do this if there is space. No fuss. Super impressed.
In the cafe, the buzzers weren't working and our coffees went cold before we got them. When we came up to get them, the staff member knew they had been there too long, and even though there was quite a queue, replaced them with a smile.
The areas were all clean and there was enough space to have some fun. I loved that we didn't have to drive all the way to the snowies and brave huge crowds for a snow experience.
Prices were reasonable and affordable.
A half day was enough for us and the early start was a good way to get a quiet run and maximise the experience with even less stress.
Can't recommend this place highly enough. It's hard to find good service but every one of the staff here should be commended on their willingness to go out of their way to help make it a really memorable experience.
My only feedback is that the pizza situation could be better. Having to just wait for the right pizza to show up and not being able to order what you want makes it tricky. Again, the staff member in the kitchen had a quick word to the cook and got them to do an order for us which saved the day. What a great team at Corin Forest.
Just amazed. I will recommend to all my friends and family and look forward to coming back soon.
For more advanced skiers it may not be suitable but for beginners it's a fantastic place to go, close to Canberra.

Easy to get to from Canberra, good facilities and plenty of snow when we went. Very hassle free compared to going to the snow fields. Small hill for skiing and snowboarding as well as another hill for toboggans. Overall a great day out the drive there is also beautiful.

A wonderful family day spent at this understated but delightful resort in mountainous bushland. We took the 2 year to have her first experience of snow. She loved throwing snow balls, creating a snow man and hurtling down the safe slop in a toboggan with a parent on board as well. Afterwards we sat by the fire and enjoyed hot chocolate. The 2 year old wailed that she didn’t want to leave at the end of the day.

We spent the day at Corin Forest during the Winter School holidays. Snow pants, jackets, and boots are available for hire. The rates are fair for the service. Great snow slope for first-timers and beginners. Ample parking is a short walk from the slopes and rental place. Highly recommended for first-time kids snow experience.

Great place if your just taking the kids to the snow. Plenty of room to play and build snowmen. The toboggans are awesome fun. Snow shoes are ideal, regular clothes will get wet so either bring something to change into afterwards or just hire the snow gear if you want to be 100% comfortable. Snow gloves are essential and will give you the best experience. There’s a picnic area for lunch along the creek. Like a mini Thredo really without the price tag. A nice 45 minute drive outside Canberra but definitely worth it. I recommend the experience especially with kids!! Brilliant!!

Good hour and amazing sliding experience. There’s a small cafe if you wanna have lunch in the resort. But picnic with friends is recommended 🫶

A good hour and a bit of fun. The cafe is nice and the pizzas are tasty. The manufactured snow is big enough for about 20 people to toboggan and make snow men. An hour is though time to do all of that. It is about 30 minutes drive from town.

Very small but perfect for children. All staff are good and friendly. All of them are very patience with children. Very good experience and my children said that they will 100% go there again. Just a bit confusion when I was booking through their website.

Awesome experience! Kids loved the snow play area and toboggan slides!

Highly recommend for first time kids snow experience.

Book in advance, show up 15-20 mins before booking time. If available, take first slot in the morning.

Snow pants, jackets and boots available for hire. Rates are fair for the service.

Small Cafe has a limited menu of food and beverages. However there is a beautiful picnic area next to a small pond to enjoy your food.

Friendly and helpful staff!

Although I'm not one to typically write reviews, I feel compelled to share my appreciation for Ashley, a staff member at Corin Forest. During my visit last week with my 11-year-old dog, Choco, Ashley made it possible for her to experience snow for the very first time. Despite her busy schedule, Ashley went out of her way to dedicate time and effort to ensure Choco and I had a memorable and joyful experience. I want to express my heartfelt gratitude once more to the beautiful and kind-hearted Ashley

We had an absolutely amazing time here. Snow play and tobogganing were on the agenda, and it was great with a toddler.
We rented snow clothes, and I would say that the largest sizes don't cater to people over a size 18/20 in women's. They also don't cater well for people with smaller waists than hips. Not a big issue at all - just something to keep in mind.
Food options are limited and expensive, so best to bring your own or plan for an expensive meal.
We will definitely be back!

The alpine slide was really good. Made me feel like a kid again ahahahah. It costed 28 dollars for an hour i think. Totally worth it.

This place has 3 areas
Ski, snow play and Alphine slide.
All 3 areas share the same outdoor carpark.
There is one ticket office
Due to Covid, tickets are selling online. They do sell ticket on site but don't expect anything during school holidays and weekends.
Regardless of how you got the tickets, you must exchange the ticket at the box office for a wrist band.
The place has absolutely no phone reception,. No WiFi, and your mobile phone will not work. So print your ticket before hand.
For ski, there is one "magic carpet" with a beginner slope. There is no turn,. Just a gentle drop. Great for learner and beginners but not for the pros.
Helmet is compulsory.
Snow play
A small area to play with the snow. Few slopes for the toboggans. Boots are compulsory.
Alphine slide.
$25 for an hour. Feel safe as staff do regular check on the track. Everyone including children needs a ticket.
There is a food canteen selling pizza $20 - $25. Wedges and chips.
Staff are friendly.

Corin Forest was one of the highlights of our trip. We only booked the Alpine slide (not snow play) also, bookings are essential as is being on time.
You pay for an hour time slot to ride the slide as many times as you go around in the hour. The instruction was easy followed by my 9yo son who went on his own toboggan. My friend had her 2yo on her toboggan and he was fine. We arrived with 45-50 mins to ride and got 5 rounds.
Super fun once you get the hang of the control after 1 ride. Definitely worth the drive out and highly recommended.

The Corin Forest team have been wonderful for helping us make our dream wedding a reality! They helped make sure we had plans for every occasion, served amazing meals, were extremely helpful with our millions of questions, and were perfectly organised, so everything went smoothly for our day. This is definitely a great place to hold a wedding and reception! Their prices are fantastic, their service is perfect, their highly adaptable and flexible, and their facilities and staff made for a fun day for everyone!

Took the kids up on a Monday morning 9am. Had the best weather. Kids were smiles for hours (6 and 5 year old). Tobogganing was the best. Found the snow way too hard to build a snowman or have a snow ball fight. Really affordable for families and much cheaper than the snow fields. Nice picnic areas as well

Awesome place if you want to experience the snow on a budget and if you want to bring your fur friend! 2 hour snow play sessions.

🐾 Dog friendly areas (on leash) -
Designated snow play area (FEE for the humans FREE for your fur friend).
Grass area with picnic tables and a cute cafe located between the car park & snow fields.

We went on the second last session for the season (End of September). So, there was a smaller amount of snow in the dog section - however there was plenty of space for the dogs and humans!

Overall - great experience on a budget!
