L.A. Donuts

These are the best donuts I have ever had and I am in my forties.

The wife and I were in Sydney and stopped for a snack on a Saturday afternoon at about 3pm.

These are made differently. The place was packed and the shelves were full of fresh donuts of almost every kind.

I have included my wife’s video (😔) which doesn’t do the place justice.

I sense a franchise on the horizon for this place.

I've been trying to get here for the last couple of months... as soon as I walked in, I was greeted with a warm smile. The owner, chef Frida, was busy cooking up fresh hot donuts. She asked if I wanted one, sure I said, who can say no to hot fresh donuts!
Whilst eating my pippin hot donut, I turned to the display of a huge selection of colourful donuts 🍩. I bought 5 different flavours for myself and husband. Pineapple 🍍 Boston cream, raspberry, jam and cream, and apple 🍎 and caramel...... OMG, my taste buds were having a ball... they were all fresh, sweet, flavourful and DELISH.... What are you waiting for? Just go and indulge yourself...😋😋😋😋😋😋😋😋😋😋😋😋😋😋😋

I don't leave reviews because I cbf but this place deserves one. I purchased two boxes as my kids wanted basically most donuts lol. They are Sydney's best donuts hands down! We have tried many places and always get disappointed! La donuts are so fresh, huge and delicious!

These are quite possibly the best donuts in Australia. We make it a point to buy each time we are in Sydney from Melbourne. You’ve got kunefe & sahlab donuts, where else can you find such eclectic flavours?! When everything’s soooo good, you just don’t know what to choose 😂. Frida needs to open an outlet in Melbourne.

I've been waiting for ever to come here and today I finally got the chance to make a special trip there and it was absolutely worth it. the donuts were absolutely amazing. They taste just as good as they look if not better. The owner of the shop is an amazing person same as everyone else that works there. I'm going to be dreaming of this place until I get another chance to go. Best breakfast anyone could ask for.

Popped in this morning for the second time, I was on my way to work. The place looks great, maybe renovations since the first time ide been.....OMG so much to choose from, my friend recommended the Creme Brulee, sadly not to be seen, but I was in luck, after asking staff, I was advised there making them now, so I waited a few minute & vouala 👌Anyhow, wow....sooo good, please try if you haven't already, shame i don't live an hour away, otherwise would be there more often.😋Thanks Frida & LA donuts

I arrived today around lunchtime and you can see they are busy but there's no long lines. Been wanting to try their doughnuts since driving past a couple of years ago. My eyes lit up seeing the doughnuts on display. Couldn't decide but once I did, I was served quickly and I had my big soft snickers doughnut. I was craving for a doughnut close to what I used to have when I was little (a dunkin' donut chocolate icing with peanut toppings) this was close enough. Taking that first bite, I was satisfied. It was big, soft and the flavour hits the spot. We quickly ate out doughnuts there then left. We bought some home. It's too bad it's too far from home but I will order online in the future.

Delicious donuts and good-hearted people! ❤ My mum's favourite donuts are pineapple donuts and for the past 2 years I have ordered them to her work for her birthday. I have been overseas so I have unfortunately not been home to celebrate with my mum, but these donuts have always left her with a huge smile on her face. And BIG thank you for including a card for me! I REALLY appreciate the extra effort & the sentiment means so much to my mum ❤

Drove all the way from Wollongong for the famous LA Donuts. I wasn’t disappointed. Wish I could have tried all the donuts but ended up getting 6 including the glazed, Homer Simpson donut and the apple fritter. The dough was soft and fluffy and the donuts were sweet without being too sweet. Staff and the owner were very friendly too. 😊

OMG! Scrumptious donuts. So many flavour options. Yummy, fluffy donuts with generous filling, each one is a dessert or share the flavours. Brioche donut is my favourite. If you are in the neighborhood don't miss LA Donuts in Beverly Hills. No regrets if you buy a few more than you planned.

My friend and I came in this morning. We were greeted so lovely by the staff. It was my first time ever coming in. I even got to meet the beautiful sister that makes these amazing creations I got to try her passionfruit doughnut. It was so light and fluffy and delicious, The presentation was immaculate. The atmosphere was very vibrant and uplifting and happy. Everyone had a smile on their face. Thank you for the great customer service experience. By the way, the coffee was Excellent I will be back to try some more of the lovely creations. Thank you sister

Can I just say how amazing and unique these donuts are! They are so fresh I can literally have more than one in one go! These donuts are our go to at family gatherings. There’s been multiple times where more than one family member has coincidentally rocked up with LA donuts. Seriously the best

I used to see so many people buying these donuts and I used to say what's the big deal? Then about a month ago I tried them and now I have an addiction 🤣 these donuts are worth every penny. They look big but they are light on the tummy. The flavours are yummy and the service is awesome all smiles and friendly. The only downer at times is the parking but everyone's loving the donuts i don't blame the parking for filling up fast!! Good job Frieda!!!

The donuts available there are truly the best I've ever had. Unfortunately, when we arrived late, most of the varieties were already sold out. However, the ones we managed to try, including the pistachio eclair, Nutella, and Ferrero, were absolutely delicious.

Moreover, during my visit, I had the opportunity to meet Frida who is the Queen of the team at L.A Donuts. I expressed to her my wish to see a similar donut shop open in Darwin, as I believe it would be a huge hit with the locals.

Overall, I highly recommend visiting L.A Donuts if you ever get the chance. The quality of their donuts and the friendly service truly make it a standout place.

The best donuts ive ever had, and the friendliest and funniest owner I’ve ever come across too. With such a large selection of flavours available, and perhaps the BEST Nutella donut I’ve had ever, and most likely will remain to be so for the many years to come, this place does not skimp out on its filling, sweetness or its extravagance when making their donuts. Definitely come here at least once, or many times, if you love donuts. Though your body probably won’t be too happy about it... but still... so worth

I initially had some issues with an online pickup order but when the owner was made aware of this, she handled the situation perfectly in reaching a resolution with me and addressing the problem. Donuts were all incredible, tasted fresh and of a high quality. So many fun flavours! Make sure you order early as they can sell out. Customer service, accountability and communication from the owner was incredible.

When it comes to Donuts look no further, honestly speaking I don’t like donuts Because they’re overly sweet and can be sickening! However L.A Donuts are absolutely 💯 amazing! They’re so soft, creamy and full of fresh ingredients (fillings) the store is always busy but the staff are very friendly & quick, trust me you’ll fall in love with these donuts! And if you’re a fan of donuts I dear you! You won’t stop at one! Make sure you buy 12 or more because I ate two before leaving the car park 😂😂

I had a strawberry and cream donut and immediately felt bad because I realized they don't have donuts in Sydney and I can only get them when I'm in Melbourne. Was walking by and saw the donuts and was so glad I stopped and tried, will definitely be back when I'm back. The staff was also nice and I was surprised that the price for such excellent quality donuts was so reasonable. Thanks L.A. Donuts.
