SIK GAEK Korean BBQ Restaurant

The pork neck soup here is really good. It's a big portion size and filled with meat. The flavour of the broth is strong. A good local suburban option for Korean soup. They are also well known for their black bean noodles and lamb skewers.

Excellent customer service and great food. It is one of the best of its kind, highly recommended.

If you are going for dinner, I would recommend a booking, most of the time is line waiting outside.
The overall of the shopping centre doesn't look luxury, but plenty of parking. Modest decoration inside but very clean and nice smells.
Prices are quite good for quality, quantity ( big dishes), and freshness that it's served.

The BBQ dishes are quite big, again it depends on how much you eat.
I've been here 3 times and really happy to get back again.

Food is a tad expensive... but oh man, is it worth it!
Got the combination meat to cook, with marinated beef, and pork, and it was absolutely mouth watering! Sides are amazing, service is very friendly, and the atmosphere when we went (weekday lunch) is very chill.

The place was packed. Make sure to call ahead to get a seat. Big servings of barbecue platters cooked on charcoal. The food was really tasty. Best KBBQ restaurant I've been to by far.

That Korean girl is always smiles, she also speaks some Chinese which is very interesting.

Price is on a higher side. Would recommend the super spicy jjamppong if you love spicy food. Hot pot is not bad as well. Was told that the jjajjang myeon is the best in Perth but I feel like I've tasted nicer one elsewhere.

This place is the best Korean style Chinese restaurant in Perth. Never disappoint with their food ever. Staff’s are also so kind and nice. Strongly recommend the Rajogi and Yangjangpi!!!

This time we tried Jokbal fir the first time, and it was so yummy.

As I walked in, I felt like I was in a typical Korean BBQ restaurant in Ulsan and Busan, South Korea. Mr Edward Suk, a young Korean owner, started this restaurant in early 2019. He waited for nearly a year to get and install the smoke exhaust system custom made for this restaurant. The Black Bean noodle is one of the best in Perth. The Army Base Hot Pot and Lamb Skewer were very delicious. With Korean number 1's Cass beer, it helped to endorse a memorable and wonderful Korean BBQ night in Perth. The after-meal left us the smell of BBQ homebound. Who cares, as long it was a happy meal. Haha, cheers! (2021-10)

We drove 40 minutes from the Swan Valley to try the jajangmeon and tangsuyuk and weren't disappointed. The jajangmeon was soooo tasty, and the tangsuyuk was crispy and chewy as it should be with a tasty, sticky sauce and no greasiness. The portions were very generous and we struggled to make a dent in the fried rice. 100% will be back for more jajangmeon and tangsuyuk.

First of all, I want to say that everyone's taste is different. And just because someone had a bad experience doesn't mean you will too. You should ALWAYS ignore 1 or 2-star reviews.

Korean food is not my favorite, but my experiences with Sik Gaek (been here 4 times) had been positive. Service is great, staff are very patient and understanding towards big groups (we once went as a group of 15). I enjoyed the 'non-pork' food. Good selections of soju and makgeolli. Definitely one of our go to Korean restaurants.

Their food is delicious! We ordered jokbal, jajjangmyun, tang suyuk, meats for the grill and lamb skewers. Everything was on point.
The jokbal is huge. Fortunately we were a big group but even then, we had to pack it since we ordered too much. Lamb skewers were nice. It was interesting as I never seen it grilled this way before. It's kind of dummy-proof.

Price is on the higher end but overall, would come again because the food is fantastic. 12/10 recommended!

First time here and the food is so tasty.. will definitely be back with the whole family. ... every time I go here the Army stew has different ingredients soo good , tried honey soy chicken omg delicious 😋 and staff are friendly

Had an excellent Korean Chinese meal of Ganjjajang, Jjambbong and Tangsuyuk, all dishes executed perfectly! Tangsuyuk in particular was full of fresh tender meat and not so much batter, therefore making it less greasy - couldn't fault it. We visited on a chilly Friday night around 6:30 just as it was starting to get packed. They seemed understaffed for the peak hour, but all staff were doing their best in the moment of chaos. Ventilation could have been better as the whole place was filled with smoke, not so ideal for the little toddlers. Nonetheless, our family of four thoroughly enjoyed our meal, especially our little 2 year old who stuffed her face with ganjjajang!
Will definitely visit again 🤤

We ordered 3 dishes: the wagyu set, the lamb skewers and kimchi stew. The barbecued meat was soooo good! Wagyu (that we cooked well) was so soft and tender. Portion looks big but easily finished by 4 adults. The best part of this was their banchan. The banchan’s well-balanced acidity cuts the fatty richness of the meat. The lamb skewer experience was so fun too- we could adjust how crispy we wanted the fat parts to be. We coated the lamb with the spice mix- Spicy and sweet and pairs so well with the smoky lamb. Kimchi stew, amazing as always. I do agree with other reviewers, that the service and ambience wasn’t a 5-star rating. Price-wise also a little higher but that’s because the portion is big

A great Korean BBQ Restaurant located in Langford. When you walk in you are hit with the great smell of bbq. Food is absolutely delicious. 10/10 would recommend.
