Really nice well run cafe serving quality food that’s fresh and delicious. Service is very attentive and cafe is spacious. Serves good coffee from Primary Coffee Roasters.

Came here after a friend’s recommendation and I liked how bright the atmosphere of this place was. The servers were attentive to the customers and we were greeted with warmth, though we had to share table.

We had prawn toast, three eggs chilli crab omelette and a glass of iced matcha and they didn’t disappoint.

My favorite would be the prawn toast as it was well complemented with the sauce, however the cutlery they provided was too blunt for me to cut the toast. The chilli crab omelette was good too as it flavorsome. Iced Matcha was just alright as I found it too milky and the matcha flavor wasn’t rich enough.

We loved the food! It was really good!

I ordered their Mentaiko Pasta and grapefruit sparkling!
Pasta was 5/5
Grafefruit drink was 3/5 - it has a lot of ice!

My fiance ordered their Dandan pasta and mocha. He would rate it as 5/5!

They have the order and lay option which is very convenient nowadays!

We’ll def be back!

How do I love thee? Let me count the ways. LOL. This cafe is pure poetry that I can’t help but remember the famous sonnet. Really, really good.

The cafe is very bright and well designed. The staff are friendly and attentive. The most important of which of course is the food! I ordered baked eggs while my husband ordered the karage benedict. Both are not your usual cafe food and we love it.

I’ve had other types of baked eggs before but this one is special because of their 63 degree eggs, speck and wagyu meatballs. It also has spinach and feta. It’s perfectly balanced and I am one happy customer. The eggs are so soft and deserves a post on its own. Not sure if everyone will love that texture but I do! 🤩

What a gem in Crows Nest! We will definitely be back.

Great place for breakfast, brunch or lunch. Casual place serving good food and coffee. You can order via App or from the staff. Fav is Unusual Eggs - not sure how Fried eggs, peanut butter, chilli and toast can work as one dish but they do. Been many times and will keep going back.

Double Cross Dining Room is a great spot for brunch. Good coffee, creative and delicious menu, friendly service and a lovely dining room in blonde wood with plenty of natural light. Definitely a local gem.
I've visited a couple of times and no complaints about the quality of the food. Special mention goes to the Unusual Eggs and the crab omelette which were tasty and something a bit different to the classics.
There's a Sunday surcharge of 10% (not sure if it extends to Sat).

This is honestly one of the best coffees I've ever had. I also very much enjoyed the food and the friendly and fast service. Only downside is that food portions are quite small given their price.
I've returned many years later and it is still amazing

I have dined here for 3 times now. Love their food menu with heaps of creative options!! One thing needs to be mentioned too is about their exceptional great customer service that has turned the cafe to be a super warm and welcoming place to be visited. Special thanks to Georgia who has been so attentive and listened to the request of my wanted cappuccino! I will definitely return and will share this wonderful venue with my friends 😍

I like its environment. You can see the house and trees opposite by opening the window, which is quite beautiful. The Korean fried chicken is very juicy and the sauce is very satisfying.

recommend it to everyone

Went there for lunch the croffle with KFC is super good and the coffee. There was an issue with their online ordering payment system but everything else was perfect.

The chicken is apparently better then KFC says my 6y old and as for my 8y old he couldn't stop talking about how fresh the Kingfish sushimi and rice was.
If you feel like a alcoholic drink then look no more and good coffe too.

It's quite a handsome looking cafe, clean and neat. This coffee shop is very popular in the neighbourhood, lots of people come here for a cuppa in the morning.

Its environment is very comfy to say, it's a open shop front with outdoor seating area, honesty saying morning and welcome to this hidden corner.

Japanese inspired menu in a fancy upbeat location. Great addition to Crows Nest. I also love how they change up their menu now and then to keep things fresh.

We were in the neighbourhood at lunchtime.

Just happened to see honey and co next door. Upon reading a few google reviews, there was a suggestion to look next door. We are so glad we did.

The staff are nice and friendly. Service was great. The food was interesting and tasty. It was very reasonably priced.

Water was offered gratis and even sparkling water is on the house.

Katsu pork sandwich with tamago egg and kewpie mayo was an interesting combination.

The creme brulee French toast was great with the fruit and marscapone. Very tasty.

Thoroughly enjoyed the meal and service.

Will be back again.

Food was great! Will be back!

The Eggs Benedict had an extremely delicious hollandaise sauce and the bread bowl worked really well in tandem with the maple bacon and poached eggs.

Baked eggs were also delicious, the 63 degree eggs were cooked perfectly. Note to bury the cheese and it melts that way.

Coffee was less exciting but good. The coffee art was quite exquisite, something that seems less common these days.

Plenty of parking around, both paid on the main street or car park and free for less time in the nearby residential streets.

Oct-21: Their new location is bright airy and much bigger than the Willoughby Rd location. Food and drinks are all ordered via an app (QR code on each table). The cold brew and coffee is still excellent and there are some subtle twists to the original menu.

Went back again a week later. Mentaiko pasta still awesome as was the kale Caesar. Love the meander valley butter. Chips are nicer than the sweet potato fries. Ethiopian filter coffee was the best.

I loved the kale caesar salad. The anchovies are just right, and the mix of kos and kale with the perfect amount of sauce make this dish a winner. The dish tastes creamy without being heavy and the addition of (tempura crumbs?) instead of croutons keeps this dish interesting. The tonkatsu sando has changed, it is now in a milk bun with scrambled egg - still good, but i prefer the old sando. Sweet potato fries are good.

Order lunch food by 3pm, snacks from 3pm to close.

Spacious, airy, contemp cafe with a chill relaxing vibe. Staff are friendly, service is prompt. Menu is interesting with some Asian twist. Kid enjoyed the Hojicha milkshake. All the food we ordered are delicious. Highlight being the Mentaiko Pasta and KFC.

Very interesting menu, would definitely come back to try some of the other items! Great service, and good ambience. We had the savoury oatmeal and mentaiko pasta- both were really good!
