I would like to highly commend Justin for assisting me this morning to arrange payments through my CBA app. He was professional and understanding as I struggled to find the right areas in the app on my phone to make changes to my mortgage payments. He was so respectful and caring in his approach, so I didn’t feel anxious or stupid! A great CBA employee.

The Commonwealth Bank Dickson branch provided extremely professional and timely help. The staff were not only quick to respond but also showed great care and professionalism. They explained the resolution steps in detail and guided me patiently throughout the process. Thanks to their assistance, my issue was resolved quickly and effectively. Not happy with the service just now.
I had cheque pay to cash
Teller who served me can’t find the name of the signatory. She called her other colleague teller to help her, when they can’t find the signatory they told me to have a seat.
I thought they going to fix it.
But instead they entertain customers and expect me to wait and put aside my cheque.
Until another teller came. I thought she’s going to call me but instead she served another customer, until I approach her what happened to my cheque, those 2 teller just put it aside. I told her how long I have to wait
Since in the first one who came.
It’s very disappointing very bad customer service.

I've been with Commonwealth Bank since the Dollarmite days but I'm thinking about changing. They have good online services and apps, but I've been really disappointed recently with their lack action on fossil fuel investments. I wouldn't invest in fossil fuel projects personally, so why do I allow a bank to do this with my money? I go to work every day in the energy efficiency housing business, so how can I justify then banking with the biggest fossil fuel funders in Australia?

Bank in and of itself is fine. Queue sizes are ridiculous though. They need to invest more in staff!

Went there for a help to be sure that me and my partner are opening our business account properly and instead of helping us they pretty much just tell us to go online and come back if we would have any problems. I insisted that I want get help now as we have never done it before! Still they let us sit just in the hall and check on us couple of times. This is ridiculous costumer service from someone who is holiday our money. Thinking of changing our bank after this experience!

This branch has been closed for ages and just reopened recently. Yesterday its ATMs were down. Go inside to withdraw money and eight people waiting with one teller operating. Avoid this branch if possible. 11/12/23 One teller serving nine people - this is pathetic- avoid the branch at all costs. And Civic is not much better - 2 serving 15 with 2 front staff decorating a Christmas tree whilst people wait 25+ minutes to get served. Other closet branch has been closed. CBA is purely about profit - no customer service. We are very insignificant.

Had an incredibly unpleasant experience just now trying to lodge a form as the primary account holder. The staff were inexperienced, mistrustful and rude. I was there for an hour and in the end had to call my partner to come down despite it relating to my account to get it sorted.

Why on earth it should involve anyone other than the account holder is beyond me given that the website and form both stipulates he didn’t need to attend! They were unable to provide any sufficient explanation as to why he was required given you can also just post the form.

This is the fourth time their apparent inexperience and/or lack of training has cost us. We won’t be bothering with the Dickson branch again.

I would give it no stars if possible. Worst Branch in my 25 years with the CBA. Forced to take my 13 year old in for a debit card - 'it will take 5 minutes' they say. One staff member serving. 30 minutes to wait then show ID and order a debit card. Wait a month - no debit card. Nothing. Ring Dickson. No return call. Ring call centre - will escalate and Dickson will call back in 24-48 hours. Nothing. Ring branch again (twice) - 'will get back by close of business'. Nothing. OMG. I have spent two hours trying to order a debit card. This is my daughter's first experience with the bank. Frustratingly, the call centre refuses to issue the card as the branch has to. I give up. What an unresolved nightmare.
Update. Now on phone (and hold) 25 minutes and going. Been told the branch manager rang and left a message yesterday. A lie. Rubbish. No missed call and no message. What was the message left? Confirm my postal address. What? The one that I have had for 15 years and where my daughter received her last statement a week ago? I am done. A joke. Still no card and no resolution.

Wow, how has no one addressed all these negative reviews, I've been on the edge of changing banks due to Commbanks negligence regarding Climate Change and this has definitely pushed me over. Anyway, I have tried to call three times this week, no one has returned my call and the last time I tried to call the voice box was so full they couldn't take any more messages. Very disappointing.

Long queues, empty ATMs, understaffed and despite leaving messages, never ever call back. To get anything done, must take time off to get to the branch, queue, wait, wait more..... All of that just to access one’s own $$$$ WTH CBA?
