Talking Heads Speech Pathology

Angela and the admin team have been brilliant. We have been clients for three years and they have really gone above and beyond in accomodating us in the last few months. We have some major health and family things going on and nothing has been too much trouble.

We were reassigned to a new speech therapist recently and she is a terrific fit for our son.

We briefly tried another clinic which was part of our OT clinic. It was disaster, back to Talking Heads cap in hand ;)

Highly recommend them.

Talking Heads Speech Pathology is a fantastic place to go to for speech therapy. The staff are incredibly supportive and caring. They go more than out of their way to help support my family member that attends therapy with them (which I may note, they have improved miles with their speech issues). Admin staff are fantastic in making sure we are reminded of appointments coming up and help us if we have any questions. Wouldn't go to any other pathology for support, no questions about it. I couldn't recommend them anymore anymore highly!

Great service, great staff!

Very systemised approach to speech pathology for children. There is a $30 session to find out whether speech pathology is recommended and then a full report based on what I am told is the latest standards. Very friendly staff who are very open to and willing to customise their approach depending on the child's (and parents needs)

Our GP has given reference of CDMA program where he informed that it's free service for first 5 sessions. Then I have booked my first appointment where they haven't guided properly and charged us $280 and said it will be claimed back to your account as they have sent the request whereas actually returning amount was just 53.8 bucks and those also won't came back as their operator has raised wrong claim as Unpaid claimed and were accepting to fix it out. Very pathetic service by operators. Doctor has give second session of 30 mins, costs $80 where she has hardly spent 10-15 mins with my child and has checked her watch 3 times. So overall it's a bad experience with Talking head Kogarah.
I won't recommend it to anyone.

Speech therapy is just a way to tell your child to do practice of words, sentences, and small other exercises which is possible if you indulge with your child when he/she is playing and encourage them and give a chance them to speak something. If you are not aware of how then watch youtube, you would come to know how. If still you have doubt then go for just couple of sessions as any doc can't do best as parent as parent is spending more time with his child. I am not a doctor but this is what I understood from my experience with docs and my child.

I called to book an appointment and they put me on hold and did not return my call after taking down my details and promising a call back the day after. First impressions count and with this type of service I would rather look for another practioner.

Disgraceful lack of customer service at this practice put simply they do not understand how people need to be able to work together. The Administration side to Talking Heads have lost me as a client and I would not recommend them to anyone

I rang the office 3 times over 2 weeks, left all details with the receptionist and she promised (every time) that someone will call back to make an appointment. Never happened. After reading other reviews I'm glad we're never going there
