Such a hidden gem! A beautiful and cozy space near Hyde Park. It's a basement bar with lots of vintage touches and little knick-knacks. Music is great and so are the lovely people behind the bar. I went off menu and asked them to make me a gin cocktail and got served an Aviation. Absolutely smashing. I'd recommend trying some of the in-house cocktails too. Or grab a pint or two! Will definitely be going back! (The 5 stars is for the cocktails and not food. Although I've heard it's very tasty for pub grub)

Came here while I was on vacation from the US. I didn't know a single person yet everybody there was really fun to be around including the staff. And when they're on a live music night as well and the band that was playing was quite good. I would definitely go back again, And I recommend it to anybody visiting Sydney.

Secluded whiskey bar, great music. Band goes off on Thursdays at 9pm. Look for the black sign with 3 skulls above the door next to the Ezymart. They don't serve food but there is an order-in menu.

The best thing about this place is the amazing atmosphere - it's like stepping into a speakeasy, through that unassuming door, and then you emerge into this great space with awesome music, great service, and a good selection of drinks! Highly recommended!

Really nice venue with very helpful staff. Drinks are a little pricey, ordered a can of cider and the slushy. My partner ordered a burger which was a reasonable price. Nice and loud music to get everyone in a good mood, typically playing a more rock style. Good features and quirky characteristics. Nice little hidden gem

From their friendly service, excellent cocktails, great whisky recommendations to awesome music, I would definitely be coming back.

Great place to have live music. Was here on a short business trip. Spent 2 of my nights there.

All staff were really pleasant, nice little place to get away from it all. I didn't eat anything but they Uber the food in from another restaurant.

This place is an awesome little spot. Hard to find but well worth it. Entry is a door way facing Elizabeth street at the corner of park street. Head down the stairs and you're in. Great cocktails with an atmosphere to match. The team here are really down to earth. Just a really funky joint that you need to check out.

New fav venue for drinks and a live gig!!! Staff are awesome and vibes are on point!

A must! If you blind you'd miss this little hole in the wall basement Taven, but let curiosity take you on an adventure of good food, awesome friendly service and great atmosphere. Place looks great and open till late.

Had a blast! Great staff with a friendly vibe. A good variety of drinks and cocktails. You can even order some Mary's burgers from the bar staff and have them delivered to your table (to be washed down with whatever tickles your fancy 🍻🥃🍸) will be back! 😁

Had a fantastic experience here tonight. Went for a few drinks on a date and the bartender Tom recommended perfect cocktails and a delicious whiskey to end the evening. Everyone was super friendly and welcoming. 10/10 would recommend
