Water lily Vietnamese restaurant

The women that cook and serve here are so lovely. Maybe it’s because they remind me of the aunties from back home that hustle in hawker centres for long hours each day, but the food always gives me a warm hug. I’ve had the beef pho, beef and meatball pho, shaking beef, crispy skin chicken and tomato rice, and spring rolls over the past few years. Good value for money and I always try and get lunch or dinner from here if I’m in the area.

I’ve read comments about how the service and friendliness have declined over the years, and I’ve never had that experience.

The auntie was so lovely.. Beef pho was very good ($15), I’ve tried a few Viet restaurants around Sydney, this is the best one so far. Broth was rich and not too strong. Just perfect. Beef was tender and not hard to pull apart. Service was very nice, they give free hot tea. Remember it’s CASH ONLY.

Have eaten here several times and the food has always been great. Fresh ingredients and made to order rice paper rolls are great.

Had lunch with work mates here. The chicken curry tastes just like my mom used to make (I’m Viet). So much nostalgia in one bowl.
Portion is very big. Taste is authentic homemade Vietnamese. Very satisfied and highly recommended.

Great Viet food at reasonable prices. Portions are good size and they have a variety of condiments to add if you want. All your typical dishes e.g broken rice, crispy chicken, combination vermicelli etc. Delicious free tea for every table. Good food, fast service and good prices. No nonsense Viet will defo be going back.

Who says Pho isn’t for breakfast? A nice bowl of warm and hearty pho in a cold autumn morning it’s exactly what you need. The aroma and umami from the stock it’s better than coffee, and a good hangover cure too. For A$4 more, you could have Wagyu beef too, what a bargain!

They have a raw or cooked beef option and the difference is serving the beef completely raw on the side vs serving the beef medium rare in the soup. I suggested to have cooked beef option since it was serve very medium rare so it won’t be over cooked and the problem with the raw beef option it’s that the bloods from the beef will contaminate the beautiful and clear broth (some people might like the gamy taste).

Amazing customer service and customer care. I made an online order through Menulog and no driver was available to pickup the food for 2 hours. The restaurant owners contacted me and tried to help. They were also a victim of Menulog's system and couldn't join anyone from their company.

Once delivered, the food was very good. The owners even made sure to prepare fresh spring rolls when the driver finally came for pickup.

As a Local Im happy to find a good Vietnamese place to eat. I ordered a Beef Pho, Prawn Vermicelli and a Chicken Curry rice to take away.
All 3 dishes were absolutely delicious, good portions and fair prices.

So friendly and so sweet service. They even have a low carb pho!!! Made my day. Going to be a regular now 🍲

Consistently fantastic pho. Staff are always happy and friendly. One of the best Vietnamese restaurants in Sydney and at a more than reasonable price.

This is one of my favourite local spots ever. I find myself here twice a week sometimes! Family run, and service with a smile EVERY time. I can not fault anything about this place.

Great pho at a great price. Try the raw beef Wagyu, it's an experience! One of the few places open later in the area which is a nice perk.

Delicious carb free chicken and vegetable pho, I feel so healthy after eating it and not weighed down like I can if I eat with noodles. Highly recommend

Constantly good. My partner and I eat here at least once a week and we're never disappointed. Can be a little crowded at times, but it's always got a great vibe. The food is made with the freshest produce and if you come in during the late afternoon you'll see the ladies making the spring rolls fresh for dinner service. I'd recommend this place to anyone in the area for a cheap and delicious meal.
