ThaiLao Chilli Restaurant

This was my first time trying thai and i definitely wasnt disappointed, I got Pad Thai and its a solid 9.8/10! I got takeaway but would love to eat in restaurant next time, im sure it'll be so much better. Can't wait to try more things on the menu, i will do a follow up review then 😋

Chilli basil chicken was the best I’ve had in the area. So much flavour without being overpowering, perfect spice level, the sweetness from the basil really came through. Added fried egg is a must.

My friend and I were in the area for business and stopped in for lunch today. What a little gem! Delicious food and a super friendly owner. I wish I lived in the area to go back. I had the lunch special of chilli peppercorns with chicken. I wish I knew how to replicate this to make it at home. The sauce was delicious and it had lovely crisp green beans, baby corn and fresh slices of red chilli along with the peppercorn. Highly recommended!

Tried this place with the family on a lazy Sunday for lunch. We where all blown away by the friendly service and great quality of the food extremely tasty and fresh. Nice little quiet hidden gem in the campbeltown area. Will definitely be visiting again 5/5

New management, but quality and taste of their food has not diminished in quality or quantity!!
Very tasty food, fast service, although Menu Log and pickup orders slow them down in busy times.
Really friendly, helpful wait staff. Covid safe, though small in size.
Cheap, varied menu, yummy blackboard specials. Chairs not conducive to staying very long.
Their Massaman was very good but we forgot to ask for MILD!! It was still very nice. I'd order it again. We also had Sweet & Sour Chicken which was so tasty and different to any other sweet & sour we'd had, and we had Golden Bags which were quite crunchy and tasty but not real big!! I need another 20 per plate!!
We'll go back again, lovely restaurant. Not disappointed at all!!

I can honestly say that this is the best thai in Southwest sydney hands down!
Been going for years but tonight I was reminded of how authentic it is.
Hadn't been for a few years so decided to go tonight!
Ordered curry puff wonton for entree.
Garlic pepper prawns tamarind prawns penang chicken beef pad see ewe thai basil beef and coconut rice.
Entrees very good with the wonton being exceptionally good.
Garlic pepper prawns were good but I couldn't taste the pepper nor much garlic.
Tamarind fish was lovely 😍
Penang was awesome nice and spicy as was the pad se ewe with its wok hei flavors.
Basil beef was amazing yum and the coconut rice was the bomb I ate most of that even though I'd said I wanted plain rice lol.
The three if us were full and happy 😊
All came to 115 dollars I Mean seriously wow!

This place has probably the best Pad Thai. Authentic cooking with dried prawns which is rare.
If you fancy some different things like chicken feet salad, the taste is not bad.
Definitely a gem in Campbelltown.

Been coming with the family for years. Great traditional Thai food and warm service. Food arrives quickly and always cooked the way we like it. Very well priced compared to other Thai restaurants in the area.

First time trying food from this restaurant last night and very very good. Fresh ingredients and the dishes were very light, super tasty. The dim sum was insane. Bravo

Brilliant food... massive serving portions. Ambience isn't the best but what they lack in ambience they make up in great food and pleasent service. Two thumbs up!

Recommend the massaman beef, the coconut prawns and the chilli basil chicken stir fry.

I walked into this 18 seater Thai Restaraunt.
Was approached by a pleasent young lady.
She took my order which was a beef pad thai.
It arrived looked very nice and tasted very nice.
Beef was tender and dish went down very nice.
I give this place 10 stars...Just ask for Cathy..
I had lunch here for my 2nd time, the customer service is fantastic, and the chef came out with a smile and said hello..please support this restaraunt and you will not be disappointed. P.S ask for the fresh chilli.....you will have a hot time....lol....

Unbelievably very full and satisfying. The food was of highest quality and of a large portion. Service is absolutely friendliest and genuine. Not the first time here but most definitely deserves this rave review❤

Absolutely the best Thai in Campbelltown and we've visited them all. It's tiny, rustic and utterly charming. Beautiful authentic food.
