RADICI - Pasta House

Great atmosphere and vibe. Staff were wonderfully attentive and friendly. The shared Italian board was huge and delicious . The 4 pasta dishes we ordered were good, but we found it to be a bit too rich, i.e. too much sauce, butter, and cheese across the dishes. Probably personal taste, but I prefer my pasta seafood to be more delicate and light to really enjoy the natural seafood flavour. Overall, I would recommend it for a great night out.

Starting from the attitude on the reception, arriving only 30’ before close, where most places will expel you straight away, here was the opposite.

The food was also great, lasagna and burratina salad. We hope to return once we come back to Coolangatta.

After some extensive Googling, my partner and I decided to come here for dinner and I am so glad that we did.

Radici, which not the largest venue, has such personality and the vibe is great. It almost felt like we were in Italy (the waitstaff's Italian accents didn't hurt!) From the minute we walked in, service was prompt and friendly.

We had the bruschetta, amatriciana and carbonara and everything was amazing! The bruschetta was light and fresh and seasoned perfectly. The amatriciana was everything I could have asked for and the carbonara was easily the creamiest one I've ever seen. It's weeks later and my partner is still talking about it (although I don't know what he liked more, the pasta or the pan it was served in.)

Fabulous service, delicious food and relaxed atmosphere. Handmade pasta is divine, and staff are attentive, professional and authentic. Highly recommend!

What a gem of a Italian restaurant this is in Coolangatta.
Friendly service, quality ingredients perfectly cooked.
The local Birds Bay Farm Tweed Heads Oysters with Hendricks Gin dressing are a must, really good oysters and the gin works perfectly with them.
We also loved the Burro e Alici Brushette, great combination with the cheese and anchovies.
I'm 50/50 when it comes to pasta but I did enjoy the Spaghetti Amatriciana, extremely tasty and the size was perfect for a main.
Also I recommend their cocktails as well, mixed well and tasted so good!
Definitely will call in again when in the area.

On point. Bartender very efficient ! Cannot complain about service at all. Food was tasty. Happy to recommend. Very accommodating. I sat at the bar and watched the workers and can say I enjoyed there enthusiasm and effort.
Whoever rates this place as 1 star doesn’t have a clue what they’re talking about.

The owner was very helpful with suggestions and explaining the menu. Service was amazing and attentive. Wine selection was 10/10. I had the pumpkin pasta and my partner had the cabonara. Both were easily the best in the Gold Coast. Thank you :)

The staff were very friendly and there was a wide selection of food. The Italian wine was fab.

Had a lovely family dinner here. My husband and daughter enjoyed their lasagna and bolognese; the servings were generous. I’m gluten intolerant and ordered the Asparagi e Gorgonzola but with house-made gluten free strozzapreti pasta instead of the purple gnocchi (which contains gluten). It was absolutely delicious, perfectly cooked with a lovely texture and, again, a generous serving (we hadn’t had lunch that day so were hungry). So appreciative of the amazing gluten free pasta, but the flavours and service were all good too.

Ate here with my partner on 11/02/22 - the food was delicious but more than that, the servers were so lovely! We got there right when the kitchen was meant to close but they still accommodated us, and were so kind without rushing us or being snarky (I probably would've been if I was them!). They even put out one of the umbrellas they packed away in case it drizzled on us. We left them a nice tip as thanks.
To the owner - I hope you reward your staff well, they truly deserve it.

Always a treat for the tastebuds coming here- best to book as they are popular and deservedly so. The standouts for us were the Burratina salad, Rigatoni Carbonara, Orecchiette Ragu (who knew you could pack SO much delicious flavour into a ragu) and the Tagliatelle Tarfufo e Porcini. If I could eat here everyday I would. DELICIOUS!!

The Radici experience is like no other. The Italian 🇮🇹 food, drinks and staff are amazing. I felt like I was back in our homeland.

All the staff are impeccable as is the food and drinks. If in Coolangatta this has to be you 1st choice for dinner.

I was very excited to try this restaurant with all the great reviews. It absolutely did NOT disappoint. One of my favorite meals in Australia. I got a glass of Cabernet the bartender suggested and was very very good. I would definitely go back!

Creamy deliciousness. Very nice vibe here. Feels comfortable but trendy. The portions were a little small for the price but the flavors were amazing.

Coolangatta's best kept secret. The most traditional Italiano restaurant and dishes you could possibly hope for. The service is exceptional and the waiters are as professional as it gets. The chef is extremely passionate and proud of the traditional dishes he produces, 1 taste and you'll know what i mean!! The atmosphere and choice of music is nothing short of class!! We were up from Victoria on holiday for 1 week and booked a table for my birthday dinner. I had the carbonara with the pork cheek straps and OMG, this is the best carbonara I have ever had. Every mouthful makes your eyes roll into the back of your head... literally. And dessert... wow!!
The waiters sang happy birthday and my dessert had lit sparklers. They truly make you feel 1st class here and it was the best dine out experience I have had anywhere to date. Well done Radici, you really deserve a gold star. Thank you.

Without a doubt the best Italian on the southern end of the coast with food true to its roots.

Service and staff are brilliant, food was sublime and the limoncello spritz and cannoli were to die for.

Edit 12/06/21..Back again last night and again the food, the limoncello spritz, the staff and the service were brilliant, will definitely be back again.

Definitely some of the best pasta I’ve ever had, and certainly the best on the Gold Coast! Each dish we ordered (including the entrees) was full of delicious flavours and of a decent portion size. The staff were also very friendly and accomodating. Radici was a lovely little taste of Italy whilst in Coolangatta, 110% recommend to anyone after some authentic Italian cooking!
