The Naked Duck Hyde Park

What a lovely surprise.

The crew:
They are happy, polite and professional. Immaculate uniform. We felt welcome from the moment we walked in. Thank you for smiling!

The food:
VERY nice. Hot food on hot plates, well done :) And the presentation is 5 stars. I loved the extra plate decoration. Tasty and portions are just right.

The atmosphere:
It's quiet in here at 7am. Mostly takeaway coffees from office workers. The background music is not too loud, so it's a good place to do some quiet work or have a breakfast meeting.
And it is warm enough inside to not have your food go cold in 2 minutes. Overall, very comfortable.
Oh, and there is a view on Hyde Park, which is lovely, and plenty of natural light.

Cleanliness:
It is clean and the tables are not sticky or grubby.

Service:
Order at the counter, but the rest is table service. It seems that they usually have full table service, as there is an apology note on the tables: "Temporarily no table service, please order and pay at counter". What a great idea to notify customers of this!

Pricing:
Well priced. All prices are going up, so my first reaction is that it is on the pricey side, but the quality and presentation makes up for it. And in comparison, they are in fact very well priced for a café with a view on Hyde Park.

I highly recommend this place, so if you are in the area, walk past the other ones, and come in here, you won't be disappointed.

Wow the service was super fast and the staff were friendly. I had pulled pork and 2 salads and it tasted like a home-cooked meal made with love ❤. Pretty reasonable price-wise for my kind friend who treated me. I had an iced chocolate too and i believe it came to around $18 for my meal. My treat next time :)

I look forward to my coffee and toast each week. I've had other food from here and continue to enjoy it. Love their ice tea as well.

Cannot rate highly enough. Great coffee and they look after their customer so well. I ordered wrong due to being frazzled and distracted and they re made my food allergy safe. That's above and beyond . Thank you for looking after exhausted people x

I'm genuinely surprised by the low reviews on here. I came here on recommendation of a colleague and found the best value and delicious food. Meat plus 2 sides for $13.90 dine in, food nicely presented and quick service with a smile. First day spicy chicken with roasted veg and pumpkin salad. Came back here a second day in a row for the braised lamb. Yum!

Great coffee and fast! Love the autumn view from their outdoor seating area.
