Heidi's Houndstay

My two Cavalier King Charles Spaniels are sociable dogs but also quite placid. As they had never been away from home before I was a bit concerned leaving them for 3 nights. Heidi ensured that they were accommodated with dogs of a similar temperament, and they had the best time! The video updates from Heidi were so reassuring. I could see how relaxed the dogs were and how much fun they were having on their walks exploring the property. I would happily send them to Heidi's Houndstay in the future.

For your dog to have the best time + for you to be stress free, we strongly recommend Heidi's Houndstay!!! We left our pup, Porto, at Heidi's for a day and she looked after him like her own! The other dogs at her place were also so gentle and playful! The best bit was that she sent us photos & videos of Porto all day, which not only gave us peace of mind, but also so much joy to see our little furball having such a fun time! And her property and the doggy studio are just incredible! We cannot recommend Heidi enough! Our pup had the best time and returned home with a cute little Bindi on his forehead - to blend right in with the Byron life! Thanks Heidi!!!

Heidi has been so kind and gentle with our baby. Having a French bulldog as many frenchie owners would understand is not easy finding appropriate sitters who take their condition seriously. However heidi has give us her assurance, and I know penny is under good hands. We couldn’t thank you enough for understanding our concerns.

Heidi looked after our 3 year old dog whilst we travelled interstate. When we collected her our pooch was clearly in great health, happy and very comfortable around Heidi.

Heidi sent us daily videos showing how much fun and safe socialising our dog was having.

Heidi is incredible, she absolutely pampers our baby. So much respect and care was shown to our puppy and to all of the dogs that I saw when I was in the vicinity. We will be booking in with the Heidi again. We had some pretty specific requirements for our stay and they backed us the entire time and helped to sort any issues out immediately.

Our Mini labradoodle had the best 3 night stay at Heidi’s Houndstay’s. Heidi made Locky feel at home immediately introducing him to several puppies who joined him in play. He had a blast and was exhausted from all the socializing during his stay. The property allows for a lot of off leash exploration on this gorgeous farm. A studio has been set up for the dogs over night stays and works perfectly as they feel right at home. Heidi shared photo’s of our dogs fun times while he was there, keeping us in the loop. It’s great to have a wonderful place for our dog to have a vacation while we’re away. Thanks so much.

I cannot recommend Heidi and Heidi’s Houndstay enough!! We left our 1.5 yo German Shepherd (Quincy) with Heidi for a few days while we were in Byron, it was the first time he’d ever stayed with someone he didn’t know and it was incredible! Heidi’s property is gorgeous with lots of different large areas (so the younger dogs can play while older ones relax or sleep!). Heidi also just knows dogs and has the utmost love and respect for them. She’s so knowledgeable and relaxed, which made both myself, my partner and Quincy feel comfortable having him there. She sent us plenty of photos and videos while he was there which was awesome! This is not at all a ‘kennel’ or a ‘dog motel’ - it’s honestly a holiday for your dog! Quincy had the best time, made some great new friends and will 100% be back!

We sent our 5 months old chocolate lab Moose to Heidi for half a day as we were going on a snorkelling trip. Heidi was friendly, professional and easy going. I could tell moose had an amazing time with Heidi and other puppies. He discovered his love for water while he was with Heidi and we’re so thrilled since we’ve been trying for months to get him to love water. We loved the fact she had a massive property where the dogs can run free, and enjoy the nature. She Took such good care of our Moose. We would definitely be returning back when we’re back in the Byron bay area. Just wish we found her earlier! I would highly recommend Heidi

Heidi is very calm, efficient and obviously mad about dogs. She has such rapport with them! She sends us regular videos and photos of our dog so we can see how happy he is, playing with other dogs. We’d absolutely recommend Heidi’s Houndstay - and so would Postie, if he could talk or type.

Heidi is a hero! My partner and I needed somewhere for our 9 month old kelpie pup to stay very last minute while holidaying in Byron bay. When we found heidis hound stay we couldn’t believe our luck! Heidi took care of our boy like he was her own, on such a beautiful property that is a doggy’s dream 😍 we received regular daily updates from Heidi regarding Danko and it made us feel so at ease. I would highly recommend heidis hound stay for anyone in need of a service like this! We will most certainly be back and the best part is it feels like your doggy gets a holiday too. We can’t thank Heidi enough for caring for our Danko for 6 whole days & nights - giving him lots of exercise, doggy cuddles and new doggy friends for life.

Heidi’s Hound Stay is a wonderful nurturing & fun retreat for dogs. My elderly Pomeranian Zac was instantly at ease with Heidi so I felt confident to leave him in her care.

Heidi has the most genuine loving & caring nature & she tailors the stay for your fur babies requirements. My darling 18 year old Zac had limited sight & hearing plus lived with arthritis. Heidi ensured he always felt comfortable & secure whilst never overwhelmed by his surroundings.

The farewell kisses Zac gave Heidi when I picked him up confirmed how amazing & loving she is with her 🐾 guests. 💗

Make sure you book well ahead as Heidi limits how many fur babies she cares for at one time & she is incredibly popular.

Heidi is amazing! She takes such loving care of our fur babies. It really is like a holiday for them. Heidi is so gentle and loving with our border collies. And we really appreciate the text updates with photos. Definitely recommend!

I spoke with Heidi over the phone and she sent me a video of all the dogs enjoying the wide open space and beautiful back yard. It genuinely looks like a dogs paradise there. I will certainly be booking my pup in very soon!!

My dog just had a surgery and required special care which I couldn't provide as I work full time. I am ao lucky that I found Heidi's Houndstay! Heidi takes such a wonderful care of my dog.
