Jo was initially excellent at helping me with my bipolar diagnosis, psycho-education as well as strategies and skills to manage my mood. I have concerns about her approach to co-morbidities and how our therapeutic relationship ended.

I saw Jo for over a decade, first as a support group facilitator from 2011-2013 and then 1:1 from 2016- 2021.

In September 2021 I indicated I was discombobulated by our previous session. In November 2021 I voiced that I felt unsafe. This was dismissed. Jo queried evidence of trauma. Apparently long standing maladaptive behaviours were only identified during that session. I indicated I would book at least one further session if only to say goodbye. In December 2021 that booking was cancelled without any notification. There has been no follow up.
