A great authentic family run Greek Cafe. Wonderful Greek coffee. Nice lentil soup and I recommend the salted caramel milkshake.

I had Greek coffee, baklava, Kurabiye and 2 fresh juices 🌞 all was great! Very cozy atmosphere

Metaxi Mas is the local Greek lunch spot you never knew you needed. The lentil soup was heavenly and you can just tell it's made with love. Places like this make you warm and fuzzy on the inside. In times like this is nice spending your monies on local businesses where the chef is also your waiter. Definitely be back for more. The steak sandwich was a classic home style sandwich with no fancy nonsense. Try it out for yourself 😉

The best restaurant in Sydney. Incredible food, great vibe. So friendly. Try the lamb souvlaki it is amazing. And Angela’s taramasalata and Peters coffee!!

This cafe is a gem of a place. We went this morning for the first time to get a juice and a coffee which tasted great and were very reasonably priced. Peter and Angela are lovely people who go out of their way to make you feel welcome as soon as you arrive, it's a very different experience to other coffee shops where you can feel like just a number. We'll definitely be back!

Panagiotis and Angela are excellent hosts and their Greek food tastes deliciously. The portions are very big and you can get stuffed if you order the big breakfast. The cafe is super cosy, next to a big tree, away from the traffic of cleveland. Large variety of dishes and desserts too. Make sure you try the homemade lentil soup and the chicken burger. Our favourite Greek Restaurant in Sydney. You only need to go there a few times and Angela and Peter will make you feel like family. The food never disappoints.

Have been going to Metaxi Mas Cafe for over 10 years now. Peter & Angela have always made me feel like I’m part of their family. The food is made with love and Pete’s coffee is the best in town.

I love this place so much! Peter makes me smile and laugh when I come in and provides such a warm and lovely atmosphere :) The food is so yummy and the coffee is amazing! I will be leaving this area soon but Angela and Peter have made it that extra bit special! :)

Family-run Greek Cafe, awesome food, juices and outside seating. Peter and Angela like to keep you well fed and happy. Best burgers in Surry Hills IMO.

Our family are regulars at this lovely cafe. I love the metaxi mas burger, my vego hubby loves the vego sandwich and the kids love the banana smoothies. The Greek platter has been a covid 19 take away lunch hit!
