Delightful start to Sunday morning. Arrived around 9:45 AM and there were heaps of people dining already. Was quickly seated and greeted with series of carts within minutes. Very happy with the experience and food was pleasing. Going forward, this will be my go-to place for yum cha. When we left around 10:40, there was a long line outside so arrival before 10 AM on Sunday is recommended.

Still one of the best yum cha restaurants in Sydney city at Chinatown. Every dish freshly prepared & very tasty. I really enjoyed their delicious chicken feet & satay beef & mini egg-tarts.
Park at Haymarket (Paddy’s market) car park, get your parking ticket processed by the restaurant when you pay the bill, to get 2 hours free.

This is the restaurant we missed most in Sydney and I wish we have something like this where we live. Every plate we ate is on point and the 'fu pei guen' with pao sam is the most delicious thing I've ever eaten. 'Tau fu fah' was the smoothest I've ever had too. Only regret I have is not being able to try every dish because I was so full.

Best night out in a Chinese restaurant, the staff are excellent in helping you out with choice of meals if you’re not certain we’re to start. The service is above and beyond, prices are very reasonable, highly recommended restaurant. This is our number one restaurant for a great night out,

Went to The Right for Yum Cha on a Sunday, late in the morning. There was a long line, but it's well organised, and we were inside and seated within about 20 minutes. Thought the food was great, and the price worked out about $50 per person. No shortage of trolleys going past the table, and a wide variety of dishes. All were still hot in temperature and taste fresh. Will definitely head back again sometime when the craving for Yum Cha hits! Tip: With so many people it's very noisy inside - avoid if you're looking to chat intimately with someone.

Classic Chinese. The Eight does authentic Cantonese food, you can find all your favourite Chinese dishes here. Whether dinner or yumcha, the quality of the food is always good. Service is also good, especially if you speak Cantonese. There are some off the menu dishes which you can only get if you know them by name or the waiter offers them to you.

Incredible Chinese food in a city with lots of it. I went omni for this meal and ate a bit of everything. Peking duck and dumplings were incredible. Big room layout in a weird location but let none of that distract you from the amazing food.

Absolutely amazed with the proficient manner in which they provided their service, despite the huge number of diners on the day, and the quality of the food was 5-star.

Amazing yum cha. The variety was never ending and the flavours were great. The mango pancake is to die for. It was not cheap but well worth the price.

When we eat at yum cha place I never expect any good service but this place actually not bad, some of them can speak english really well. I left my hat when we leave, they kept it for me.
The food was really nice as well, some of them was average quality but some of them surprisingly nice.
Here is the order list:
- The pork shumai is dry and not really yummy.
- The prawn rice noodle was average, the prawns are really small as well.
- The prawn toast is amazing and crunchy, we got it hot and fresh.
- The mango pancake is meh, the mango are sour and the cream was not sweet at all.
- The mango pudding is a big surprise though. The pudding is silky and the milk is sweetly tasty. I wish I order another one of those cause we fighting for it 😅
- The salted egg custard bun is really yummy as well must try
In conclusion the food was not bad, some hit and miss.
What I really love about this place is the strategic location. I live in the CBD so it really easy for me to get here.
Located in market city lv 3, but beware this place gets really busy especially in the weekend morning.
We come before this place even open and we see people already line up outside. The good thing is this place is huge so we still get table without queuing.

Visit Update 16/6/2023

It's been one year since I attended a wedding banquet. Nothing has changed, in using the quality of food and service.

Well done.

It is a very big restaurant within a shopping complex, and I am very impressed with the management, the waiting staff that serves us, and last but not least the food.

I come for a wedding banquet. Trying to get to the restaurant is a great challenge if you drive around the area. Basement parking is available, and parking fee is waived after 6 pm if the ticket is stamped by the restaurant.

Although I am not involved with the reception preparation, I was informed that the management took every effort to accommodate the customers' requests, seeing that the venue setting, colour coordination, and menu are in perfect order.

The waiting staff is friendly and attentive. Clean bowls are supplied after each course, and I jokingly say that what a trouble we created for the kitchen staff, and she replies that it helps to keep her emploed!

The quantity of food is excellent. It suits diners who prefer less salt (although I do not belong to that category). There are great variety of sauces for the different dishes.

As a chicken (eating) lover, I find the crispy chicken is a bit of a let down.

After all the thumbs-up, I have to say my piece of negatives. The restaurant is packed to the rim, and obviously many people use the toilets. They do need attention to keep the floor dry and free from used paper.

PS I have no financial interest nor receive financial benefit from the restaurant.

Came here for dim sum lunch and dinner. Hit the spot both times. Good authentic Cantonese flavors.

Expect to wait during peak hours but well worth it. Nice they have dim sum carts. The food comes nice and hot.

Good variety of live seafood and an extensive menu to choose from.

Best yumcha in Sydney nowadays! Great range of well-made dim sum. Intimidating-looking queue but moves pretty quickly - never waited more than 15-20 minutes, even if it snakes around the corner.

The food here was great it is one of only a few yumcha’s that are available in Sydney but is also one of the best in Sydney. The way the service works with the food carts is amazing and is quite easy to get your food. The restraint was clean and the staff were friendly. I would personally recommend the prawn dumplings and the Cheung Fun.

Yummy fast even for a long wait. Pick dishes from the trolley that they walk pass. Super authentic and great taste. Price can be expensive if you pick alot without thinking and it will likely too much as well.
