I personally think this is a wonderful library. They are accommodating to children and how noisy they can be. Great selection of books and DVDs to borrow. We bring our kids here often. Parking down below and if you have mobility issues you can catch the lift straight up to the library.

Staff are so helpful, as well as the resouce services that are available are fantastic. Great selection of books, magazines and dvds. This really is a community hub with students studying together, people working and doing research and kids attending story time. Reminders are automatically sent so if you are like me they help organise your returns. Kids love going here which I love..the reading bug is definitely bitten!

Libraries these days are no longer the mundane quiet places we expect them to be. Library staff are not the stereotype they are expected to be telling visitors to be quiet. Libraries are places where people meet to engage on many levels. At our library we have a versatile team of enthuisiasts who love what they do and passionate about the services they provide. We have Librarians, Technology Specialist, Marketing Specialist, Children and Youth specialist as well as Historians. Where else can you have access to books and ebooks, DVD's, music CD's, Talking books, magazines and emagazines, story time and toddler time, workshops for continuing education and guest speakers about any subjects you can imagine. And it is all free. Your library card is the best investment you can make for your future and the future of those you care about. You can find all that at the Five Dock Library, so come on down and join the fun!
