Fantastic location, great customer service, food and wine. It was a rainy and cold afternoon they had electric heater and gas heater going to top it it up they provided blanket to put it on the leg as well. Food was awesome, it even tasted that extra bit better with the breathtaking view.

What you'd expect for a top-end restaurant: Overpriced, small dishes, and pleasant views. Staff were pleasant, and service was decent considering the crowd. The cheese platter was lovely, and the potato gnocchi was basically Mac'N'Cheese for upperclassmen. Zucchini stack was about the size of a Rubik cube, and deconstructed cheesecake was decent. With a couple of beers, $100 all up.

Very tasty meals. Excellent decoration, very tasty and aesthetically decorated. The only thing was that we had to wait a very long time for the main course.

Beautiful food and service. Booking for 11:30am and had plenty of time for indulgent 3 course lunch before our show at 1:00pm without feeling rushed.

Postside is a fabulous spot at the Sydney Opera House right on the Harbour for pre show lunch or dinner. The food is truly delicious with an wonderful view of Sydney Harbour Bridge and the Quay. The wait staff are very attentive and charming and were more than happy to provide whatever we needed. Must have a booking for dinner as its very popular. Not as noisy or overcrowded like other venues at SOH. Will be back soon!

Last night was my third visit to this restaurant before going to see a performance in the Opera house and on each occasion the food has been great. Good choice in their set pre theatre menu for gluten free, I had the chicken which was very good. We ordered some extra sides but the portions were large enough without the need for anything extra. Service was also attentive and efficient. Will definitely be going back again.

Great night out. Optimal location. Great food. Took advantage of this great restaurant while located at the Sydney Opera House. Made a booking before a concert, and we were not disappointed. The food was very flavorful, and there were plenty of cocktails/wine to choose from.

Excellent as ever. This is always our pre-theatre 'go to'. Very tasty food, great service and they know timing is important before the shows. Already booked for our next event later this month. Not to forget the view 😎😎

The location is absolutely stunning, situated right on the harbor with views of the iconic Opera House and the Harbour Bridge. But the real star of the show here is the food.
The seafood is especially noteworthy, with perfectly cooked prawns and fish that are bursting with flavor. The wine list is also impressive, with a variety of options that pair well with each dish

Pre Opera dinner. Beautiful to sit outside with view of harbor. Wait staff had perfect suggestions of wine, food for someone not very hungry. Met some lovely people to talk with.

Absolutely no better place to dine before a show at the opera house.
We had the pleasure of Jess being our service angel and the food was only matched by the service and view!
We had a broken party, one early and one late and they staged our meals so we could ensure that the later worker still had food waiting for her and ready upon her arrival!

Hard to beat Sydney Harbour - standing on the Opera House forecourt at sunset watching a giant cruise ship reversing out of the overseas passenger terminal on her way to the south Pacific. Lots of people out on a warm evening - drinking, dining and taking lots of pictures. It's a lovely walk along Circular Quay to the Opera House to take in the view and sit and relax.

One of my favourite places to eat before seeing a show at the Sydney Opera House. Neatly tucked away on the western side of the Opera House facing the Harbour Bridge with views to the Rocks Circular Quay and across the harbour to Luna Park, McMahon's Point and Kirribilli. Most of the seating is outdoors but there are a few tables indoors. The Pre Theatre Dining Package is worth considering. The wait staff were courteous and the food served promptly. A good idea to book online in advance.

My elderly mother and I dined at Portside before attending a show recently. From the ease of booking online, to the meal, the service and the location, everything was perfect. For what we had, the price was very pleasantly surprising. Overall, we totally recommend Portside and cannot wait to return. Thank you for a lovely evening meal.

My friend and I dined here for lunch before a matinee of Phantom. I had the barramundi which was divine, we also shared the Brussel sprouts with truffle/bacon and the combination was unique and flavourful. Its a great venue to have in close proximity so you can eat and leisurely walk upstairs to your show, its location is perfect.

A lovely pre theatre meal beside the Opera House in the sunshine looking across to the Harbour Bridge.

This is a great spot for lunch or dinner given the great views of the bridge and harbour and very convenient if you are seeing a show at the Opera House. The compact menu manages to have something that appeals to everyone and portions are sized so that you have room for dessert. The staff are friendly and on seating you make a point of asking if you are seeing a show and what time you need to leave.

I expected fairly ordinary, overpriced food, because I assumed they were merely trading on their proximity to the opera house. My mistake. We had an absolutely delicious dinner with a great view. The food was creative, well presented and a good value for the area.

This location is great as out of the way of most of the pedestrian traffic. You cannot beat the view (even with the smoke). Stopped for a pre show drink and bite - and had to have the pate as had menu envy last time I was here. Service great. Not sure if the pate or the raisins in the walnut and raisin bread that made it seem sweet - pretty sure it was the raisins. But tasty none the less.
