Alpha Restaurant

I recently dined at Alpha restaurant and had an excellent experience. I started with the Watermelon Margarita cocktail, which was incredibly delicious. For my meal, I tried a variety of dishes including the lamb shoulder, haloumi saganaki, Cypriot garden salad, snapper plaki, smoked eggplant pie, horta, and cos salad – all beautifully garnished and bursting with flavor.

The service was quick, and the staff was friendly throughout my visit. I appreciated the bonus of Moda filtered water served at the beginning of the meal.

If I were to offer a suggestion, it would be to ensure that the restrooms are a bit cleaner. Overall, it was a fantastic dining experience, and I look forward to returning soon.

* Gluten free options for pretty much every meal, except not enough gluten free desserts, but they made up for it by throwing in some nice ice cream

Excellent dinner with very efficient service. The lamb shoulder (smaller portion) is big enough to share with a couple of sides like a salad and roasted potatoes. The restaurant is loud with a large number of groups enjoying themselves.

This place is a must go. The food was super delicious, I haven't eaten that much for a very long time. This is the best Greek restaurant I have ever been to in Sydney. Beautiful background music, which made the atmosphere extremely pleasant. I completely recommend this place.

Celebrated my birthday here with my team mates. The food was excellent to say the least. Staff were professional and exceptional. The food was mouth watering it has to be the best Greek food I have had. Fresh, tasty and on point highly recommend 👌

Great food, service and atmosphere. The restaurant was buzzing on a Thursday night. Our group opted for the Papou $95pp banquet which is a shared menu. Everything on the menu was delicious.

I went to Alpha Restaurant last minute with my boyfriend tonight for my birthday. It was the best decision ever. We literally made a reservation half an hour in advance of showing up. To get a good restaurant so last minute in Sydney is un-heard of!

The atmosphere is stunning and Grecian Chic.

We had the pleasure of being served by a fantastic waiter who accommodated us from beginning to end. Unfortunately we have forgotten his name, but he was very tall and English! I wanted to be cute and sit next to my bf, so they literally gave us another table. It was the funniest and the cutest situation. 😂

The food was 10/10. I have never ever had better spanakopita than tonight’s serving. I don’t drink but felt like drinking so I asked the waiter for a shot. The bar tender heard our requests and gave us one of the best shots to come out of Greece. The shot that was kiss in Greek 😂

Lastly, I have a nut allergy and am anaphylactic. The staff accommodated me completely and made sure I didn’t eat any nuts! So thank you!

Shared a divine meal at Alpha with family - including an 11 and 15 year old. It was my second visit and once again it was exceptional. The first visit for business purposes where we enjoyed the banquet and this time we went for a la carte. Refined, divine Greek cuisine in a stunning setting and with exceptional service. Highly recommend.

Fantastic restaurant, food, atmosphere and service. The reservation team went above and beyond for our daughter's 21st Birthday Dinner and everything was perfect on the night. Everything we asked for they took care of and were so accommodating. Nicos, who took care of our table on the night was wonderfully efficient and had the most amazing manner. He was really attentive in a gentle manner. Our guests were super impressed with the service, food and restaurant too.

We recently had the pleasure of dining at Alpha and it was a wonderful experience.

The staff were very welcoming and the service was impeccable. The staff were attentive, knowledgeable, and genuinely passionate about providing an exceptional dining experience. We were served by the lovely Josh who guided us through the menu and dishes that were served. Dishes that stand out were the Spanakopita and raspberry tart, delicious and a must try!

We look forward to dining at Alpha again soon!

We came with a bigger group and loved it. Our waiter and all staff we interacted with were helpful and made sure all dietary requirements were addressed.

Food was great - the dips to begin with were so fresh. But try to remember not to fill up on that as there is sooo much good food to come. The basic banquet was too much food but the staff doggy bagged everything and split it up so many of us could take a bit each home.

Beautifully well lit and clean facilities. Highly recommend.

Great food, very professional service, gave us recommendations when we didn't know what to order, was even able to recommend wine, restaurant a bit noisy but very vibrant.

Came in with a group of work colleagues for a celebratory dinner. Had booked the set menu as there were so many of us. Service was great to start, and the setting is simple but beautiful. Even the seating with the cushions and such makes it not only beautiful but comfortable.

The food was delicious. The taramasalata was good enough to eat just with a spoon!

Service and staff were attentive even during the dinner rush, and the food came out very quick. The baked feta was delicious but the outside of the roasted potatoes were hard and chewy.

Exceptional evening, fabulous service and great vibe. All the dishes were unique and just big enough to sate you while still wanting more.

We got Papous set menu and left by rolling out the door. The lamb was absolutely melt in your mouth amazing and the Haloumi to die for.

We had set menu for Christmas party, love everything except the dessert, a bit sweet for us, otherwise pita, Optus, lamb shoulder are all amazingly good.

Staff were friendly and professional, service was impeccable , we had a great time there!

It’s around 170 per person with drinks, I was pretty drunk after 😅 the staff kindly let me sit in the restaurant to wait for my husband to pick me up even though they are closed, truly grateful, coz I was really smashed that it’s dangerous for me to be outside that late at night, thank you guys!

AMAZING FOOD, cocktails, decor, service, wine! This place ticked ALL the boxes for me. Loved everything about it. The lamb for the main is a MUST HAVE. The Halloumi also a MUST. Can't wait to eat here again! Overall outstanding dining experience.

We recently had a Saturday night dinner for two and very much enjoyed the menu and wines. The halloumi entree and octopus main were excellent however there is a wide array of great choices on the menu. Wines by the glass or bottle with Greek origin options and full bar offering spirits.
