Balangara Cottages (Book direct)

Loved our weekend stay. The bed was so comfortable. I slept like a baby. Everything you want from a B&B. The breakfast was delicious and a wonderful bonus. The property is peaceful with a lovely garden and outdoor seating area. Possibly the best property in Marysville within walking distance to everything.

We stayed 3 nights in a spa room just recently. The room was so spacious and comfortable and very clean. The bed was so comfortable and huge. The Gazebo was great for eating meals with a beautiful garden area and little babbling brook running next to it. We will stay again for sure. The owners are a lovely, friendly couple.

Now called Wrenfield Cottages. Great room with spa. The only downside was no table with chairs - and maybe car parking is a bit tight - though there is a coffee table. Literally just across the road from the shopping centre and food options. Sculptures nearby for amusement and nice little park with flowing water. Marysville is still developing and more shops are in the process of being built. Go for bush walks, visit Steavenson Falls and sculpture park. Nice relaxing place to stay.

I couldn't fault the room nor the experience. The beds were extremely comfortable. The room was spotless. The bed warmer was a nice touch for a winters night. The spa bath was a step up as it has warming and bubbling settings and was absolutely huge and extremely ergonomic. We slept well. We had breakfast which was included in the price and it was generous - could probably skip breakfast. The location is perfect and there are a myriad of things to do.
My five year old was very taken with the owner ( male) as he chatted to him. Which I thought was incredibly friendly.
The later check out time allowed us to be relaxed, have breakfast at a relaxed pace. All up: a really nice experience ( we are an extremely well travelled family)

Wonderful place for a refreshing break. Rooms very well presented, hosts are fantastic - Christine cooks fantastic breakfasts..and that's from someone who has never really been a big fan of cooked breakfast until now. Great location to go for wanders or drives or just sit and watch the birds outside

We've had the best weekend!
Completed the most stunning ride from Bendigo through Black Spur Rd to Marysville.

Then greeted by the lovely owners at Balangara Cottages with our beautiful Spa room 😍

Just what we needed after a long ride.
And a safe spot at the room door to park the bike to walk across the Road into town for a few hard earnt drinks and a Feed.

The bed was so comfortable and such a lovely view and the breakfast in the garden with the Stevenson falls running through the backyard was something else.
was just the start we needed.

For a last minute booking just needing a bed, we didn't expect this!!!
Sad we had to leave. 😪

With out a doubt the BEST bed and breakfast we have ever stayed in.
Rooms were absolutely spotless, the most comfortable bed I have ever slept in, and a most delicious cooked breakfast.
The hosts are so lovely.
This place gets 5 plus stars from us.

Accommodation suberb,modern comfortable and beautifully appointed. Owners Ash and Christine make you feel very welcome. Breakfast is delicious. Did not sample the cakes but they looked amazing. That you Ash and Christine for a wonderful stay in one of our favorite places in Victoria. Will come soon to see you!

Super friendly & caring hosts. Stunning rooms that are spacious, very clean, tranquil with lovely views of the surrounding gardens, & best breakfast in town. Best accommodation in marysville - would recommend Balangarra Cottages very highly.

What an amazing weekend, we come back again and again, thanks Christine and Ashraf, two most hospitable people I've ever met. The accommodation is fantastic, attention to detail is everything. Very clean and new. Very relaxing. Highly recommend it to stay. Will definitely return.
