Wonderful traditional Chinese Restaurant Located on the Main Shopping Strip, Griffith Street Coolangatta.

Very friendly,prompt and efficient service from the lovely lady.

Had the Small Sang Choi Bao and the Sweet and Sour Pork with Fried Rice.

Presentation and taste were beaut for both dishes.

Pretty sure Coolangatta Chinese Restaurant is the Best value Chinese Restaurant in the area.

Very affordable lunch meals at $10, although limited options. There wasn’t anyone in the store when we visited during easter. Fuss free Chinese take out restaurant

We came at like 5-10 minutes until close, not expecting to be served, but she took our order so eagerly, cooked it in less then 10 minutes, with heaps of vegetables and fried rice. We got their Satay chicken special, which they have for $10 at lunch or $12 for dinner (insane value!). It was almost like they packed the takeaway container to its absolute Max! Was enough for both of us. It tasted so great and I wish I could visit them more (on holiday from Brisbane). Love you guys, keep doing your best!

Love this place! The couple are always ever so polite and attentive. Never had to wait longer than 10-15mins and the food is consistently delicious. I wish them all the best and will certainly continue my support!

The Honey Chicken is like eating gold. It is the real deal and the only Honey Chicken that is fresh and crunchy with succulent juicy centre, not microwaved sog like everywhere else.

YES, yum!! Everything was super fresh, authentic and TASTY! Honey chicken nice and crispy =) (not microwaved like EVERY other place I have tried). Friendly man and women serving/cooking. It is a smallish shop and by no means as fancy a fit out…. but the best food! It really is true hey, the best eats are found in the nooks and crevices. Without raving like I’ve never seen food before, it really is that great 👍 Oh also very affordable pricing, large portioned meals and open until decent hours.

The best Chinese I’ve had in a long time

Just across from where we stayed.Honey chicken was fabulous.
Beef Szechuan was devine the sweet and sour pork and fried rice was very good.

I've been a ceoliac for 10 years and have been forever let down by Chinese restaurants. It's so reassuring to speak to the cook who is confident in what can be done gluten free. There are so many options. It's a hidden gem and a local business. Could not be more happy and if you have allergies just ask the question!

I'm a local, & a return customer. But am NOT biased when I say: courteous & always friendly service, with super-fresh food made to order. Nothing is too much trouble. There's a reason they are an enduring local business.
