Indian Cottage

On the 15th of Jan 2024 I enjoyed an Entreè of Samosas, Vegan burgers, onion Patty, I also had potato/peas filled Nann Roti with Mango Lassi. Thoroughly enjoyed the experience. Beautiful and delicious.

AMAZING! This place never disappoints, ever. My partner and I visit sawtell from Newcastle a fair bit , almost because of how much we love this place. Staff are always so pleasant and efficient. The food is seriously insane. The best Indian we have ever had, which is why we keep coming back! Highly recommend!!!!

Always the best experience. Whenever I visit Gold Coast, my family and I make it a point to dine at this charming little Indian restaurant in the heritage Sawtell village.
The food, the staff and the ambience is incredible. But the highlight is the best Papdi Chaat on the East coast! Thank you for making one more memorable dinner night.

Since we moved up to the middle north coast from Sydney, we have been dining at India Cottage on a regular basis, great service and lovely food.

Only got takeaway but I was very happy. Absolutely delicious best curry I've had in years and the portions are huge. Shame our curry joints aren't this good in Port Macquarie 😭 I'll be back

Had delicious take away from here. We had some special dietary requirements, and the chef came out to take our order and help us order which was amazingly helpful. He even cooked up a special bespoke curry to address food allergies.
The onion Bhaji entrees were delicious.
The curries have a good amount of heat.
I would highly recommend.

This is a little gem. Everything we’ve ordered has been really tasty. The meat dishes are great, no swimming in oil here, nothing bulked up with endless onion or capsicum, beautifully spiced. Great daal, lovely tandoori. It really is quite a remarkable little Indian restaurant in regional Australia... a must visit for anyone who loves Indian food. Excellent delivery service and reasonably priced. Please don’t change any of your recipes!
