This is the only Japanese bbq buffet that offers A5 grade wagyu in sydney! We went for a special anniversary and were very pleased by the end of the session. You just have to look at that marble and taste the meat melting into your mouths.

You really need to book for this to access. For the menu and ordering it’s all digital now so use your phone at the table to order. the cost of the buffet doesn’t cover drinks so please take note!

Atmosphere is down because it was pretty loud around Xmas to new year times and there is a lot of tourist in town, which you can hear in the bg of the video.

Had a delightful dining experience at Nishiki! They offer different buffet options. The quality of their meat is the premium one across sydney!! Visited for the second time to celebrate the birthday.
Convieniently located, just a 3 mins walk from the train station.
The staff are friendly. Highly recommended.

We visit Nishiki Wagyu Yakiniku recently after wanting to try this place for a while. We went on a weeknight for the 730pm sitting. We had the classic BBQ buffet. The restaurant presents as newly renovated, clean and tidy although not overly big with seating for around 7-8 tables. We were promptly attended to and asked if we had a booking. After being seated we were asked if we were going A la carte or buffet. You order off your phone after scanning. The meat is tender and we loved all the different cuts. There’s also other side dishes that we liked such as Karaage chicken, oysters and sashimi. The portions were large. The service was prompt and attentive. A good meal!

Just wow. Absolutely incredible wagyu beef. We got the buffet menu for Fathers Day and while we thought it was expensive, it was definitely worth every penny. The selection of meat was amazing
Every piece of beef was finely selected and extremely fresh. Normally, the thing that gets me with eating wagyu beef is that the marble can get overwhelmingly sickening after eating large amounts, but here at Nishiki, I could gorge myself happy and not feel the oil reach to a sickening degree. The marble to meat ratio was truly spot-on. Sashimi selection was fresh, including the oysters. Loved the desserts too - mango mochi is a must-order. Bexley North is a unique location to move to and parking is easy. Highly recommended to everyone!! Best jbbq, I'm so glad there's a special place in the south of Sydney for delicious meat like this.

Nishiki Wagyu Yakiniku is one of the few Japanese buffet in Sydney that exhibits all you can eat sushi and Japanese style barbecue. The quality is definitely one of the most premium across Sydney; so is the price but it’s worth every dime.

The atmosphere is ambient and nice. The restaurant does a superb job at keeping cooking smoke to a minimum – often some of these indoor barbecue places are very smoky and causes respiratory discomfort but I didn’t find this to be the case at Nishiki.

The wagyu ingredient selection is top of the range. They are so juicy and scrumptious one can tell the difference instantly with the meat quality. Nishiki also offers a wide range of authentic Japanese sake selection that goes tremendously well with the food. The waiting staff is also very helpful. Friends and I had enjoyed a wonderful evening and a mouthwatering experience; I will recommend to anyone.

I love nishiki, the place is amazing, food is great! My favourite Japanese BBQ buffets to go to in Sydney. One time, I believe it was the owner, he overheard us looking "soft and Juicy meats", he came and gave us a free dish that wasn't on the menu which was from the premium meat section (alacarte only)! What a guy!

They also have exceptional customer service, never had a bad experience with them.
The price is decent for what you get, not amazing however, the location and the maintenance/cleanliness of the internal design makes up for it. A great place for a special occasion, I now have a majority of my special occasions here :)

It usually isn't super packed which is unfortunate as the internal design allows the place to be full but at the same time, giving me and whoever I'm with personal space due to the high backings of the seats. This is something that other Japanese BBQ places like the ones in the city do not have.

Highly recommend!

Edit: The phone number seems to be disconnected. Please update your number so I can make a booking :)

We had the buffet and overall thought it was excellent. The meat quality was excellent, we had all of the beef and the only one we weren’t so keen is was the ox tongue as it wasn’t very tender and more on the chewy side, but everything else was great. The salmon sashimi was of generous portions with each slice. The salmon yukhoe and beef yukhoe were favourites of mine, as well as the ponzu and yuzu oysters. Service was super friendly and quick, although the restaurant itself is somewhat small. I’d definitely come back for a special occasion or event, probably one of the best Japanese bbq’s I’ve been to

Very nice Japanese BBQ buffet and we enjoyed the wagyu BBQ here! Meat is fresh and delicious. And they are MBS5+ Wagyu which is quite testy.

But the space is too limited so it is hard to make a reservation. I think this place is worthwhile to visit.

Very friendly restaurant. If you order a buffet, you can only eat two oysters. Wagyu is definitely the best, including beef tongue. Unfortunately, the restaurant is not large, there are only two large tables, and there are not many meal options.

The meats were good quality, seafood was fresh and even the side dishes were a hit. Side Can't fault this little restaurant. Will definitely be returning again for the buffet.

I liked this new Japanese buffet in our area. It was a surprise for my husband from me and our daughter for a Father's Day. Very clean place, nice design inside, fresh meat and fish, reasonable price per person, amazing service from the very friendly staff. Highly recommended and we will get back again. Thanks a lot for spoiling us on a special day.

Been here 2 times now, incredible food!

The first time I was here, we noticed the first Wagyu order came very quickly and subsequent ordered were very slow.

The last time we went the time limit had changed to 100minutes limit for all you can eat. However all additional orders came super fast including dessert and super card beer.

The wagyu literally melts in your mouth, we tried all the wagyu and our least favourite was the flank which was not tender at all. Everything else is to die for!
Will be back

THE best Japanese barbie in town! ESP with the mouth watering wagyu beef. Our fav was the outskirts wagyu. Owner was exceptional in letting us celebrate our birthday and recommending a good sake to go with our meal. 😀😀
