Woongarra Motel

We had a pleasant stay at Woongarra Motel. The room was very clean, and the location was excellent, being just across the road from the water. We enjoyed breakfast at a lovely nearby cafe and appreciated the convenience of Club North Haven, where we attended a function. Overall, a great spot for a comfortable stay.

We have stayed at Woongarra Motel on multiple occasions, it’s our favourite overnight stop. Stunning location. Clean / tidy rooms. Comfiest bed. Newly renovated bathroom. Cafe shop right out the front. The service has been incredible. We will be back again. Thank you.

Beautiful location, extremely comfortable beds and easy check-in/out process. We arrived late at night and the room was warmed and cosy. Would love to come back and stay longer.

Very nice motel. Run by a nice family. Rooms clean. Safe area. I stayed in room 5 and it was newly renovated including the bathroom. I had looked online for places, and when I called directly for a last minute stay, they gave a better rate than what I had seen online without me mentioning anything. Close to the shore and restaurants. It also has a pool and a large bbq area.

Stayed for an impromptu overnighter while heading south, comfortable, well appointed, clean & newly renovated room. Very friendly owners, safe location in a lovely beachside town. Such a beautiful area, we intend on a return trip.

Woongara motel is likely our go to from now when we visit the beautiful town of North haven and surrounds or for a stopover. The motel is perfectly positioned opposite the lake and short drive to the beach, cafes nearby. The place was nothing short of perfect -- great pool with a tropical vibe; rooms were spacious, clean, well equipped with all kitchen essentials and ample wardrobe space; modern and clean bathroom; large parking spot right in front of the room. Overall great stay, highly recommend!

Easy to book online and able to pay upon arrival this motel is clean and comfortable and appears recently renovated.
Large parking space outside your doer for convenience.
Around the corner (literally) from Club North haven for easy meals and entertainment.
Microwave, fridge in the room if required.
Straight across the road from the lake makes it the perfect stay if you like a morning walk.

Clean, comfortable and modern rooms. Location is fabulous...located opposite river...short walk to cafes and club. Have stayed a few times as very easy drive from Sydney.

Great experience. We were on the road with four young kids and needed a bed for the night. I called just before midnight and was thrilled to have someone answer. It wasn’t long before the 6 of us were all tucked in, in their family room. Comfortable, clean and easy. It was short but sweet. Thank you so much.

North Haven is a pretty little hamlet, great for a stopover between Brisbane and Sydney. And the Woongarra Motel was the perfect place to stay. Our Q+Single room has recently been tastefully renovated and spotlessly clean. There was a recliner couch, a well equipped kitchenette and the beds were comfy. The bathroom products were of high quality and we were able to watch Netflix on the smart TV. Highly recommend!

I have stayed in this motel with my brother and father on various occasions over the many years we have visited north haven and we allways enjoyed our stay . the rooms are very good as well as the beutifull location , I plan on staying in this motel again in the near future for this reason and for good memories.

Woongarra Motel is a fantastic place to stay in a lovely setting across the street from the water at North Haven.
The rooms are well maintained and extremely clean. They have a split system and ceiling fan, well appointed modern bathroom with a great shower and ample hot water. The recliner sofa is great after a long drive.
There is a wonderful Cafe with excellent food just next door.
The staff are very friendly and helpful.
We will definitely be coming back and would highly recommend it as a great place to stay - not just for overnight.

Super comfy rooms. I slept like a log. Great location and price.

Lucky enough to find this great motel after a long day driving. Called and spoke to a friendly man and we were able to organise late check in which was fantastic. Room was amazing for the price. We had the family room which had a queen in the main section, plus a few beds in another room. Very comfy bed, very clean rooms and small but clean, modern bathroom. Not the most sound proof of doors, but it was quiet all night so it didn't matter. Would definitely stay here again.

My wife and I had a really great stay at the Woongarra Motel. Room 14 was recently renovated and comfortable. Great BBQ area and a nice clean pool. Location is the best with walking, fishing and swimming in the netted river area all very close by. Will be staying here again on our next trip

The stay was very great with all the small luxuries and detail you would need for a comfortable stay, clean and well kept. The staff? AMAZING!! A special thank you from me personally because I left my iPad in the room upon being distracted during checkout. It was returned to me in Sydney about a week later with no trouble at all. In fact, staff went the extra mile, to locate and then get it back to me via a family member. I can't say enough good things about that. Good and honest people running a business is becoming a rare these days. Thank you Luke!

Very clean, renovated rooms with lovely furnishings.
The bed was very firm which was good for us but not for all. Pillows ok.
Great that the fridge has a seperate freezer so your ice bricks actually freeze overnight. Great location with lots of fabulous food and drinks choices close by and a fabulous walk along the water.

Luke at front desk was very helpful and friendly. Great family apartment with 2 rooms, sofa, 2 large beds, 2 single, each room had tv, rooms
clean, neat, comfortable, nice kitchenette. Across road is a beautiful inlet with lovely walk and views. Next door is a cafe with great menu and
service.
