The staff were super lovely, and the atmosphere was relaxed.
We enjoyed our food very much. Highly recommended!

Went here on the last day of our holiday. The Sandbar Breakfast w Scrambled Eggs was amazing. Comes with a sausage, mushrooms, tomatoes, hash brown, toast and bacon. The staff were very friendly. I wish I'd gone here on the first day too instead of the other one close by.

Great little cafe on the water has it all. Good food, nice staff and great view. The banana, pecan and honey smoothie was “interesting” but enjoyable. The eggs Benedict and green sandbar was ordered and very nice. The staff were quite busy trying to clean tables for the next customers but seemed to keep their cool and did a great job getting people seated quickly. Glad we stopped here on the way back to Port Macquarie.

A lovely cafe situated near the water. Easy parking on the street or across the road at the boat ramp. The food is always amazing and never disappoints. The ingredients are fresh and wholesome. The table service is friendly and prompt. The verandah area is the place to sit with beautiful coastal views. Highly recommend and will definitely visit again. Thank you for a great experience.

From the moment you walk in you are treated as a long lost friend. The service was outstanding. The coffee smooth and well made. The menu outstanding and so tasty. The prices I think are very reasonable and the outlook over the river amazing.

Whenever I come here visiting from Sydney, the food, service and vibe is always fantastic! The coffee is like something you would get in the inner west of Sydney too! Love it!

Not many places open for lunch on a Monday in the off-season, so Sandbar was one of our few options. Very happy with our 3 mains and service was quick even though they were quite busy.

Great service and coffee. Excellent home made cakes and food. All exceptional. Very happy we discovered it on the first day. We could try something different three days in a row. A must next time in New Haven.
