Tootsie Gallery Cafe

A veritable cornucopia of visual and taste delights. The art work is amazing and the Gelato and other food is fantastic. Wonderful service and friendly staff. This is a must visit when in Yass. Very highly recommended

Great alternative stop when travelling. Family friendly Cafe with great outdoor space for the kids to stretch their legs. Lots of shaded areas. Delicious Icecream and coffee. Great serving sizes. Toilets on site and lots of indoor and outdoor seating. I love the quirky art covered interior, with little seating nooks. There is a chalk wall section for kids in the garden.

There were a few cafes in town open today, but Tootsie, with its cool art deco facade definitely looked the most inviting (ok, so the 'gelato' sign may also have helped draw us in 😉).
The place was busy, with numerous orders already queued up next to the coffee machine, but the staff were super welcoming and clearly enjoying their work. It didn't take long for our order to arrive - my affogato (gimme a break - I'm on holidays😀) tasted as superb as it looked and my wife's latte got a double thumbs-up. We had a couple of jaffles (yes, jaffles - not usual cafe fare, but so appropriate to this funky place) that were piping hot and very morish.
A few flavours of the huge range of gelato rounded out our meal.
Such a fun experience and tasty food.

Colourful, fun decor. Great jaffle-based menu. Plenty of space indoors and out. Even art in the bathrooms! Loved the jaffles, gelato, and the Caramel Hot chocolate was divine!

This is not so much of a cafe but an oasis!! We had a wonderful time. It's a little tucked away coffee / gelato place / gallery. An amazing experience having a break from driving and enjoying a coffee at a little courtyard surrounded by works of art.
They speciality is gelato, and all things sweet but there's not many savoury or breakfast options.
However it doesn't get in the way if this place's unique atmosphere! Highly recommended!

This is a great cafe with some amazing art and mosaic work. The staff are friendly and the food is good too.

An amazing little place to stop on your way between Melbourne and Sydney. A great selection of ice creams for the kids, lovely place to sit down and relax and have a break either inside or outside in their garden. Well worth the visit. We’ll be back.

What a great little gem in Yass! lovely, quirky atmosphere with lots of smiles and friendliness. only had a sample but am looking at eating a full meal there. menu looks great.

I was thoroughly charmed by this place. I love Art Deco architecture, I love places with a story (make sure you ask the owner/staff where the name "Tootsie" comes from), and the whole family enjoyed the treasures on display. Yass is worth coming to just to see this little gem.

The staff are very generous with the scoops they are also very polite and patient, 10/10 recommended

What a fabulous place! Dropped in to just grab a takeaway coffee, but after having a quick look around decided to sit down and enjoy this amazing cafe/gallery/visual delight!

It is a very unique place. Passionfruit gelato was the best I've ever tasted.
The artwork is fantastic, so do yourself a favour and drop in.

What a fantastic place to stop and have something to eat and drink. From the moment you walk over the red carpet there are wonderful things to see everywhere to look. From pigs flying, lamps with legs for stands mosaic's everywhere which are just so amazing. So do yourself a favour and stop here on your way to Yass!

Such a friendly and welcoming place for a cool gelato and great coffee. Always something interesting to look at with their arts background and being a gallery for local and regional arts plus the staff are fantastic.
We had afternoon tea with a gelato affagato and gelato, heaps of flavours, and kid friendly with space out the back to enjoy.

Great Gelato and Jaffles. Loved the 60's and 70's retro decor. Plenty of parking and relaxing atmosphere. Oh, great coffee too if you need one.
