Kamari Greek Kitchen

Don't understand why this place was not more crowded on a Thursday, but it meant we were well looked after. The food is a very good Greek standard with good portions. My swordfish souvlaki was something different. My partner enjoyed his lamb dish. The price is very reasonable. We haven't been here for a number of years but we will put it back on our list.

Had lunch here today and it was fantastic. Very very generous portions and everything was freshly and beautifully cooked. Service is top notch too! My Dad's usually a picky eater but out of all 6 of us, I think he ate the most 😆 Thank you so much guys. Keep up the great work!

RUN- don’t walk to taste the most HEAVENLY food you have ever tasted! We enjoyed the Taverna set menu which was altered to suit our needs as coeliacs. Everything was fresh, cooked to perfection and absolutely authentic. Portion sizes were so generous and priced so well. Michael welcomed & served us like treasured family- nothing was too much trouble. It was honestly the best meal & dining experience we have had in decades. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

Went here today for lunch and I can honestly say the food tasted exactly like my past travels in Greece. This place is authentic and the service from everyone at the restaurant was 100% I was so pleased with this place, we ordered the calamari, the chicken souvlaki and lamb keftedas, we were a group of 4 people and two mains for the whole table was enough. Portioning was great! Will be back again for sure.

Food and service was exceptional. The waiters were so kind and the atmosphere was lovely. Highly recommend!

Everything was incredibly fresh, quality & quantity, fast food service, attentive staff.

I had a fantastic experience at Kamari. I was visiting family near Brighton and relied on reviews to help choose a suitable restaurant for lunch. I was not disappointed.

Michael and team took our booking at short notice by phone and welcomed us on arrival. We chose the 7 course set lunch which was a lovely selection of meats, seafood and salad. The food and service was excellent, great value and exceeded our expectations. We’ll definately be back on our next visit to Sydney.

My friends and I came to Kamari on Sunday night and were very impressed. The ambience was cozy and intimate and the staff were very friendly and accommodating. All the food that we ordered was delicious. We will definitely be returning!

Went here for a date night, and they blew us away. The food was absolutely phenomenal. We picked the set menu, meat option, and every dish was amazing. The slow cooked lamb fell off the bone, the souvlaki had so much flavour. This is a gorgeous little restaurant with mouth watering food, generous and hospitable service, and a wonderful atmosphere. Cannot recommend enough!

While visiting Sydney from Poland and the United States, we were eager to have an authentic Greek meal given the vibrant Greek community in Australia. We were very lucky to find our way to Kamari Greek Kitchen, where we were warmly welcomed by owner Michael and staff, and served an absolutely superb meal. We enjoyed every dish, which evoked warm memories of our time in Greece and Greek hospitality at its finest. Thank you very much, and we look forward to dining here again when we are back in Sydney!

Went to Kamari for lunch to celebrate my husband’s birthday. The food was just delicious! Handmade and the traditional foods I remember growing up with. We will be back!

I had a lamb souvlakia with some beer and they were so delicious! It was a pity that I couldn't order more food because I came right after dinner But it was nice and the boss was so kind!!

My wife and I went here for NYE last night and we had such an incredible time! It’s a lovely restaurant that has a very homely and cosy feel. We sampled a range of their dishes and nothing disappointed! Each item was as delicious as the other.
The staff were really friendly and fun as well- helping us with our wine selection and being accomodating!
Look forward to going back.

Went for dinner last night with the family and the food and service were amazing! Food feels homemade, service is personal and the atmosphere is very classic Greek taverna where you’re made to feel extremely welcome. Will be coming here again!

Tried this place for lunch and would definitely come back. Food was good and service was great.

Had a group of 3 heavy lads, ordered the set menu tapas, the vibe and service was spot on cheers Michael. Lastly the food was impeccable, strnly recommend you finish off with a greek coffee. Most of the food (esp the chips) are made in house!

Amazing food. Very generous servings and everything was so fresh. We are from Melbourne I wish we had this restaurant back home. Will 100% be coming back when travelling to Sydney again.
