Camden Head Pilot Station

Awesome place to have a function or to hire out for the weekend amongst the native flora & fauna & a minutes walk from Washhouse Beach with fascinating rock-pools or the family friendly Pilot Beach. The Trust/local community have done an amazing job restoring the Pilot Station house & out-buildings. Highly recommended even just for a visit.

Have only been to Pilot Beach not Pilot Station . A very pretty , quiet venue , BBQS , childrens play equipment , picnic shelter sheds / tables , clean public ammenities.

Haven't personally stayed here. My Grandfather, Father and members of my family stayed here in the 50's and 60's. So visited to look at a slice of my family history. I now understand why they came here again and again. Lovely place and so close to such fantastic nature.

We parked near the Pilot Station and walked out onto the southern break water, we were able to take Marley, the dog

Not open to the public and no signage at the rear car park to make this clear. Really needs a fence for indicate property boundary. We were told it was private property. Real shame that this is not a museum for everyone to enjoy as the history is interesting.

I agree with the previous comment. Never open to the public, the history is being ignored, and signage erected to deter the public. Woeful.
