Thunderbird Motel

brilliant sized motel room we had the spa suite immaculately clean lovely comfy bed. Pool was awesome on a hot day the restaurant was booked out so we went to the recommended pub two blocks up which was fantastic too.
great friendly service and well priced we wouldn’t hesitate to return

The hotel is a typical country hotel. The rooms are clean, it’s an easy walk into the CBD, there’s a Woolworths only a 3 min walk, it has a nice pool for the hotter months and an onsite restaurant. Very happy to stay here again.

Rooms are a little dated but clean and well appointed, pillows were limited and felt a little “old” but apart from that an overall positive experience. I would most definitely stay here again.

Thunderbird motel in Yass is a very good quality establishment. Room size was very generous and well appointed. It was nicely cleaned and presented. Staff were friendly and welcoming. The other big benefit was the attached Ewe and Me restaurant.

Would definitely stay here again and recommend it to anyone looking fir a nice place to stay.

Leonie at the front desk was so nice and friendly. Bec at the dining room was also very friendly and exceptional service she provided. Great continental breakfast but the prices and hot food available was excellent.
Room was large, bed so comfy, kitchenette had everything needed and plenty of hot water. We would stay again and highly recommend staying at the Thunderbird motel.

Very comfortable motel within walking distance to Woolies, BWS, Aldi, cafes, pubs etc. We had the queen deluxe room which was huge. It was very well appointed with a sofa, microwave, mini bar and French press coffee plunger as well. The check in and dining room staff were extremely friendly helpful and professional. Highly recommend staying here when in Yass.

A comfortable motel with everything you'd want. Checking in and out after-hours was very easy. Delicious food!

Stayed overnight on a trip south. The room was clean and quiet. Bed was comfortable. Staff were very helpful. We ate in the restaurant for dinner, and again for breakfast. All the meals were very good, and again the staff were pleasant and helpful. I'd have no hesitation in recommending the Thunderbird Motel, and would definitely stay there again.

Stayed here on the way south to Melbourne and also on the way back home from Melbourne one week later.
The two rooms we had were immaculately clean, smelled fresh and were well appointed, the dinner at Ewe ‘N Me was very exactly what it said on the menu and was beautiful.
The motel it’s self is older style but the two different rooms we had were well updated and a pleasure to stay in and the air conditioning worked very well and were quite and didn’t effect our sleep.
The staff here are like a lot of people are working in a very difficult times and under stress but the four we dealt with were top of the tree. Leanne and her team promise and deliver, sorry I don’t mention all your name I remember two and can’t remember two so I hope you know who you are.

Lovely motel, great location, very quiet. The room was spacious, clean and fresh. Very comfy bed for a good night's sleep. Air conditioner warmed the room quickly. Large bathroom with bath and shower. Pleasant and obliging staff made check in so easy

Wow, what a great place for families. I don't know if I was upgraded but I paid very little for a massive room for myself and my family. The pool was great for little kids because a good section was child friendly. Dinner from Ewe and me was delivered to our room fast and was beautiful. The staff were extremely friendly as well. There's plenty more we'd like to say. The only downside is that I would of liked to be served by Lady Penelope, Brains or Virgil. We will be back, and we will be staying longer.

Perfect for a quick stop in the area. Large, spotlessly clean room with a comfy bed, large bathroom, great shower. Very quiet even though every room was occupied. And some nice touches like plunger coffee and a microwave. Highly recommend.

Enjoyed a great club meeting over a weekend. well looked after and catered for for our 35 +friends. Nothing troubled the staff and owners who really cared for making our stay as happy as possible, well done all.

The Thunderbird motel is well located and has very welcoming staff who went to a lot of trouble to meet my needs and those of the rest of my group who had a very enjoyable 'Christmas in July'' dinner at the restaurant. Staying in the motel was a delight too - the rooms were spotless, well organised and quiet. Oh and I had a great night's sleep (and sleep in). Thank you.

The room was spacious, warm and clean. The checkout was efficient. The staff were courteous. The restaurant on site was very good value with pleasant food and helpful service.

Great rooms, spacious, clean and modern. Fair fare. TV much too small for the room, but hey….
