Hi-Way Motor Inn

I recently stayed at Hi-Way Motor Inn and found it to be absolutely deserving of a 5-star rating. The room was exceptionally comfortable and impeccably clean. What truly stood out to me was the attention to detail they truly went above and beyond to make the stay enjoyable.

The check-in process was seamless, and after a long drive, I felt warmly welcomed. The room itself exceeded my expectations in terms of cleanliness and comfort; the bed provided a fantastic night's sleep.

We arrived late Friday night and they organised the key to be left for us and the heater was on which made for a comfortable arrival and to fall asleep quickly. The room looks dated but the beds and pillows were surprisingly comfortable. Happy with our stay!

Small but comfortable rooms with decent towels and excellent shower. Table to dine a in room with space for a decent sized pizza and more on top.
Stayed twice and both rooms clean and ideal for passing visit or if you are planning to be out and about.

this was my first experience - and a very pleasant one, with friendly, caring and professional lady at the desk. She kept a room for us despite a mere phone call. thanks for the trust in us. A great pit-stop from Melbourne to Sydney. Room is small but cosy, with most amenities. I will be back.

Called up at 4pm asking if they had a room free. Was delighted to hear that they did, and was able to spend the night.
The receptionist was friendly and polite, the room had everything we needed and a heater that definitely did wonders keeping us warm all night.
Had a wonderful and would definitely stay again.

The new owner, Sophie, was amazing. We had car troubles and her and her team were very helping, understanding.
They have just taken over so we are excited to see them bring the motel back to it former glory with some TLC and rework.

Best motel experience ever! In the middle of winter I rang to ask how late they were open. The lovely lady said she'd leave the key in the door and I arrived to find the light and heater on... very welcoming. They treat staff enthusiastically. I'll go there again. Very clean and comfortable.

Owner was very welcoming and polite upon arrival. The room was very clean and just what we needed for our overnight stay.
In the morning, we gave back our keys and were warming up my partners truck when the cleaner (Amanda) came to ask me if we had just checked out of room 2 and that she had found my wallet behind the bed. A big shoutout to Amanda for absolutely saving me and preventing a nightmare of no wallet! Honest and hard working people should always be recognised when due. Thank you for doing an amazing job and going the extra mile, Amanda. If we are coming through Yass again, this will be where we stay!

The motel staff were friendly, the room was quiet and comfortable with easy on-site parking. Overall, very good value.

Caught stranded after car trouble and needed a place to stay. Sophie, the new owner was incredibly welcoming and accommodating even when calling after 9pm for a room.
The room was clean and cozy with everything we needed and they even allowed us to have a late checkout, just what we needed after a stressful night. They were very kind to help with our broken car the next day. Would hi-ghly recommend!

Absolutely worthy of a 5 star review.

The room was very comfortable and clean. I felt they went above and beyond when it comes to the small things, such as milk in the frusdge, cookies, and good toiletries.

The whole checkin process was easy and I felt welcome after a long drive.

Highly recommend.

Having been on the road travelling with my work, for over 30yrs, I find Yass as an ideal place to rest after a drive up the Hwy from Melbourne!! The Hi-Way Inn has been the place I have stayed since very early visits !! I have seen only 3 other Hosts there, and all, especially the current owner have been fantastic.. Great energy in the place.. Nothing has been a problem.. Rooms are always clean and comfortable.. I shall be retuning on the way through in the new year !!

Value for money accommodation for a one night stop over, friendly staff and room was presented clean and fresh. Would definitely recommend. Parking for our bike right outside of room and out of sight of street.

Great hosts who made our stay easy and comfortable. Rooms are clean and tidy with everything working. Convenient to Yass and local shops.

We were really impressed with this place. Greeted by owner Jo who was absolutely delightful and welcoming. Parking was at the door and the property courtyard had a nice open feel. The room had crockery and microwave, a fairly large table for dining, an extremely comfy bed with quality pillows, thick towels, a great aircon and plenty of hot and strong shower water. We couldn't fault the cleanliness.
Some aspects of the property are slightly dated, but assessing as budget accommodation, it fully deserves 5 stars. It excelled in every area that mattered to us.

Loved the stay here. It's so easily accessible from the road. Only a few minutes from the Hume Highway.

Shops and eateries are quickly accessible so you can go get some Melas for yourself. Enough parking for your cars or SUVs.

We stopped overnight at the Hi-Way Motor Inn and were very impressed with the service and the comfort of the room. We arrived late at night in mid-winter to a warm and cosy room with a hot shower, clean presentation, and obvious care taken. The bed was very comfortable and check out very simple. Everything was easy. Much appreciated.
