Bike started shutting down on the highway today, Barry was nice enough to give me some advice which is more than any other shop I called did.

Best part about it is his advice fixed the issue!

I called in to Barry's on my motorcycle which was stalling at idle and running rough.
Barry was very pleasant and knowledgeable to talk to.
Barry booked me in and tuned the carbies to perfection the bike has never run so smooth or perform so well.

By far the most knowledgeable and thorough bike mechanic I've ever come across.
His overall workmanship is incredible and his knowledge of motorcycles and the way they function is outstanding. Explained every step of his workings to me too which helps someone like me with little knowledge.
Came in for a simple back tyre replacement, and Barry pointed out, explained AND fixed (for FREE) several issues and concerns he noticed with my 2nd hand CBR500R without trying to sell me other products etc. This man potentially saved me big $$$ down the track.
This man is genuinely the best bike mechanic you will find and has a heart of gold.
Barry will always be my bike mechanic and I refuse to go elsewhere.

Excellent workmanship

Quotes a price, then charges double. Cuts existing wires/cables without asking, installs parts/pegs without consent then charges for the privilege.
After questioning why the hefty invoice, Barry advised of extra work and parts. Then sends an obnoxious text the next day to advise not to come back, as my “attitude” - questioning paying for work that was not necessary or requested -was bad. Also left cables outside in the rain and the rude text advises to pick up asap.

Disgusting act Barry. Bad form.

If you take your bike here make sure to provide specific instructions as to the work you need or want done.
Make him aware which cables/cords he should not cut to suit himself. And what extra parts you don’t require because you will be charged for it.
