A First Class Experience!
Some food was home made and everything was incredibly tasty, nicely presented and well priced.
Atmosphere was very comfortable, aided by friendly and cheerful Staff whom went 'the extra yard' to ensure a lovely dining experience.

Most certainly the best cafe in Victor Harbour.

The place is lovely decorated, inside and outside, the owners go out of their way to provide the friendliest service (serve you fresh water, add lemon slices for you, add a cookie with every cup of coffee etc.), and the food is delicious!

We loved the scones, the banana bread, the smashed avo, and the dirty Chai.
Their whole range of sandwiches, quiches and salads looked fabulous as well: next time!

Drove down from Adelaide for lunch and it was well worth the drive. The omelette was brilliant, and Debra happily deleted the spinach and replaced it with mushrooms. The cafe has a great ambience, couldn't ask for better service, Debra and her assistant were amazing. Will definitely be back.

Ara's Cafe was superb, decorated in homely/funky design and nice artwork. Her cabinet food was crafted with care..generous and tasty. The coffee was delicious and hot. Quiet background music allowed good times conversation. I'd say the whole cafe experience was the best I've had in a long time.

We dropped in yesterday for a coffee.
Oh my goodness, what a lovely experience.
The coffee was great, and the vanilla slice was so delicious.
The service was tremendous, and it was so relaxing to sit in the afternoon sun on the comfortable chairs provided and soak it in.
I would highly recommend stopping by this charming place.

Amazing homemade food! Owner was really friendly and went above and beyond to make sure everything was to our liking. Got an apology that food may take a bit longer as she was on her own but it was still super fast to come out and so tasty! Would highly recommend Ara's to anyone and everyone!

My partner and had lunch a couple of times during our stay in Victor Harbor. We loved Debra’s home made salads and quiches. It was great to come across a cafe that catered fresh and healthy meals. Her hospitality was warm and friendly, as was her passion about food, which made our experience enjoyable.
We will definitely be back when we are in Victor Harbor again.

Great range of food, fresh, well presented down to the sugar bowl on our table.

We were on holiday exploring Victor Harbor and came across this lovely cafe for lunch. Has a welcoming home feel, and Debra makes the most delicious food. We loved it!

It's extremely rare to find the quality of home cooked healthy fresh food but here it is, on Ocean Street in Victor Harbor. Stunning fresh salads, paninis with home style pickles and roasted veg. Really great options for vegetarians and omnivores alike, good coffee. Cosy too. This cafe is a keeper...

Arriving nearly 2pm the Paninis were all gone. We were met by very friendly service and given some options of what was still available. We were informed of a short wait to ensure we were happy. The coffee was hot and delicious and the food was excellent. The food was tasty and the cafe is very funky and lovely to eat inside. Highly recommend

Visited this Cafe for the first time in April '24. Lots of great home made food. Fabulous service. Lovely homely atmosphere. Will definitely be visiting again some time soon.

Great cafe for a coffee, friendly staff,lot of home made quality food and good music. Doesn't get over crowded , not noisey and nice surroundings in the cafe.If you want something different, out of the main drag, worth going there. Support local.
