Their Hummus preparations are so good. So creamy and delicious with all the flavours more than expected. Quantity is amazing. I took 2 Hummus Lunch packs, 1 Hummus with Israel Salad with Falafels and pita bread and another one is Hummus with Masbacha toppings with Falafels. 1 Hummus with 2 toppings. Me and my friend really enjoyed it. Will visit again really soon.

This is a terrific local place from which we have tried a few dishes and will no doubt continue to keep visiting. The quality and taste of the food is outstanding. The hummus has a great flavour and consistency, and the felafel has the wonderful fluffiness on the inside with the crispness on the outside. My 4 year old child also cannot eat enough of them which is always a bonus when your kid eats well when dining out! The team are friendly and attentive and you can see they put passion and commitment behind their business. Thank you Yoash and team!

Delicious food full of flavour with the best fresh hot falafels and hummus in Sydney! Love that almost everything down to the sauces and pickles are made in house. Kind and friendly staff as well :) one of the rare places with outdoor seating on the street in Sydney.

Good hummus. I had the Hummus b'tahini. It has a good texture - a little fluffy, and delivering a more natural, undisguised chickpea flavour. The topping on the order was tahini, nuttiness with a barely noticeable bitterness. There was a touch of paprika, a sprinkle of zaatar, and a kiss of olive oil to keep it interesting. It helps that there are little cute falafels to go with it, and you can grab a side of pickles to keep the palate fresh. The place is smallish, the menu is simple, staff are friendly, will be going back to this Israeli hummus bar the next time I get a hummus craving.

Fantastic vegan hangout - or anyone's place for a quick Middle Eastern lunch. Visited after my manager stumbled across the bar on her lunch break a few weeks ago, and I've been waiting for an opportunity to go ever since.

I had the (super affordable) lunch hummus bowl special - $13 for a hummus bowl + pita + 2 toppings, and went with the tomatoes and falafel. The falafel were like nothing I'd had before: warm and peppery, and oily in the good way. Not sure if the pita is made on-site, but it was doughy and delicious -- just right for scooping!

I had a slice of baklava too (can't say no to a $3 dessert), and was really intrigued to see what it was like without the dairy butter and honey. Definitely not as sweet or flakey as I'm used to, but still delicious and I would order again because, well, baklava!

Sustainable, bio-degradable knives, forks, and napkins are a really nice conscientious touch. I hope eat-in diners are served with ceramic bowls to save throw-away bowls. Would love to see take-away customers encouraged to bring their own containers/tubs/cups as an added effort towards low-waste living, despite how it might affect the aesthetic of the business.

I'd be interested as well to see some different variations of hummus (spicy, red pepper, etc.) but the "original/traditional" works fantastically as it is.

Overall, great service, incredible food, and passionate staff - I really hope their success grows. They deserve it!

Absolutely a great place for hummus. Fantastic and vibrant display of food and friendly service at this small cozy place. Not only the hummus tasted great, I enjoyed the homemade pickles a lot as well.

So delicious! The food is tasty, presented in a fun, appealing way, the staff are warm and being able to sit outside on a balmy Sydney evening makes you feel like you are on holiday.

Delicious authentic Israeli food, totally vegan. The pita bread and hummus won't be found anywhere else outside of Israel, it's very very good.

Smokey cauliflower is divine and so everything else on the menu, highly recommend!

Went there last night with my inner west millennial daughter. Food was AMAZING. So FRESH. We ALL thoroughly enjoyed every dish we ordered. It has a really cool, chilled vibe. Best middle eastern food I have ever had. Way better than anything in NYC where I lived for several years. Hannah our waitress was adorable. It would be OFF the charts if a neighbour didn't complain about the live music that was playing a week ago. Geez, some people are whingers.

The hummus is smooth creamy perfection and the lunch special is great!

I'm normally a meat eater, but this is one of Sydney's hidden gems when it comes to vegan food. Not only was the food delicious, but the gorgeous man who served us was really accommodating to my allergies (and there are many) and made sure I could enjoy a delicious meal. I would highly recommended this place to anyone who is vegan, considering to go plant based or simply wanting delicious food.

Delicious hummus and fantastic service, always so friendly. I never thought I liked hummus until I tried it with these, now I come here for my fix. 8ball is my go-to order because I also really enjoy their falafels.

I don't why people complain about pita bread size. But pita bread is also very good. The name of the restaurant is Simply "HUMMUS" Bar.

Highly recommend this place! Food was delicious and service was excellent too. My brother and I came here for dinner and the owner was lovely, even served us hot tea since we were sitting outside in the wind. Try the smokey cauliflower, it's addictive!
