Le Boeuf Butchery

The new butcher in East Lindfield is awesome! LOVE LOVE LOVE the sausages (always a good test for a butcher), the steak, the chicken schnitzels, the butterfly lamb + butterfly chicken - it's all really high quality and tasty- as. They do their own marinades- so the garlic and mint etc is freshly chopped there at the store. (none of that thick coagulated stuff used at the big chain butchers). I love you can get a good coffee next door at Dukes, the Chemist has been revamped too, and top quality fresh veg at the green grocers. Thanks to this new butchery, the little shopping centre is now so do-able. Parking is easy and wheelchair friendly.(The construction at Lindfield station has made parking up there nightmare). Oh! and I almost forgot- how could I? Le Boeuf is also selling some gourmet ready-made meals. The Teriyaki Chicken, the soft tacos, the lasagne (all good portions and well priced) are a huge hit in this family of 5. And spaghetti meatballs are divine! Definitely worth trying!

Absolutely first class. This butcher buys in meat from carefully chosen high quality farms around the state. I bought a pork loin roast that was the nicest pork I have ever eaten. Plus really good advice from the butcher who is also a chef as to how to best roast it and get perfect crackling!

Sausages are really good but at $23 per kilo? to be fair they are really Great quality and yes you cannot compete on price and quality. I get that. Had the meat balls last night and they were pretty ordinary. Great location and I have been going here for the last 20 years. Place looks amazing, staff are nice but I find the prices too expensive. Its probably a personal thing. Previous butcher I would walk in and spy something for dinner that was good and reasonably priced and easy. I would rather spend the time tripping up to Lindfield.
