Nice big park, well maintained. There are playground for kids. Nice place to have a picnic with family. Also good place for running and leisurely walking. There is also a restaurant in the park for brunch. Inside parramatta park you can find the wisteria garden which has cherry blossoms during spring.

Parramatta Park has quickly become one of my favorite spots for a morning stroll or a day out with family and friends. What impresses me most is how impeccably clean the park is maintained. The public restrooms are always spotless, which is a rarity and a testament to the park's dedication to cleanliness and visitor comfort.

During my morning walks, I've noticed the park workers attentively cleaning the picnic areas and tables. It's refreshing to see such care taken to ensure everyone has a pleasant experience, whether you're planning a picnic or just stopping for a quick rest amidst nature.

While I don't have a dog myself, it's always a joy to see the park bustling with dog owners and their furry companions. Parramatta Park is wonderfully dog-friendly, providing a great space for pets to enjoy some exercise and socialization. Observing the happy dogs and their owners adds a special touch to my workouts and speaks volumes about the welcoming and inclusive atmosphere of the park.

Whether you're looking for a clean and serene spot for your morning exercise, a family outing, or a pet-friendly haven, Parramatta Park is the perfect place. Its beauty, cleanliness, and friendly vibe make every visit a delightful experience. I can't recommend it enough!

This enormous land mass is so big that it can fit whole Parramatta residence. It’s very nice with natural creeks and bridges.Best for photography and good to spend your day. Best in the morning as there are dews in the grass, fresh smell, all people running doing something makes your mind fresh moreover, there are birds, bats and rose garden. Plenty of things to do in this park

Parramatta Park is a true gem nestled in the heart of Parramatta. Stepping into this picturesque oasis, you're greeted by a charming blend of history and nature. The park boasts an array of old buildings that whisper tales of bygone eras, adding a sense of enchantment to every stroll.

But it's not just about the past; Parramatta Park is alive with vibrant wildlife, offering a delightful escape into nature's embrace.

One of the highlights for families is undoubtedly the fantastic kids' playground. With its thrilling flying fox and various other attractions, it's a paradise for little adventurers and a joy for parents to watch their children's faces light up with excitement.

And let's not forget the unexpected surprise of stumbling upon the fruit bat colony. A fascinating sight to behold, it adds an extra layer of intrigue to the park's already abundant charm. Even for seasoned visitors, it's a reminder that there's always something magical waiting to be uncovered in Parramatta Park.

Overall, Parramatta Park is a testament to the harmonious coexistence of history, nature, and recreation. Whether you're seeking a peaceful retreat or an exhilarating adventure, this park offers something truly special for everyone to enjoy.

Celebrated New Year's Eve 2023 on Parramatta ground with grand celebration that included food stalls, play activities for kids, information hub, live concert and grand fireworks. It was a good idea to go to Parramatta for 9pm fireworks as it was kids friendly. Not sure if there were any rest rooms but would be helpful if there are a few of them for future events.

Hey Sydney, we were taken back in time at Dinofest at Parramatta Park 66 million years to the 'Age of the Dinosaurs'.

This magical and unique experience includes a 45-minute Dinosaur Encounter with life-sized moving dinosaurs, a dinosaur trail with over 30+ dinosaurs, and some awesome Dino activities! It is best suited to the younger kids 8 years and under.

We came face-to-face with the legendary Tyrannosaurus Rex, met a gentle
Triceratops, stunning Stegosaurus, friendly
Ankylosaur, and we even got to pat and cuddle some cute baby dinosaurs as well!

Make a day of it and pack a picnic, hat and sunscreen, and enjoy a day off screens and in the outdoors.

Parramatta Park is one of the most visited and vibrant parks in this area. There are multiple grounds for playing.
Separate paths for pedestrians, cycles and cars.
We can see a lot of tables here and there.

Overall a good place to hangout with friends and family.

Unbelievable to think that you feel like you're in a remote river location somewhere in the outback when you are actually in the middle of a city... Parramatta Park with the Wanderers and Parramatta Eels' Commbank Stadium right next to it!

It's a conveniently located park with plenty of aminities and children's play area. Close to Parramatta and Westmead station. We went for the Astralia day celebrations, which was very well organised.

An amazing oasis in the middle of beautiful Parramatta Park. Everyone was stunned and very impressed. No hesitation to recommend for a small group or in our case a larger event

One of my favourite places in Sydney.
Thank you to the NSW Government for supporting it.
And thanks for Symphony Under the Stars on 20240120... but perhaps too many speeches. And too much said about how fabulous Western Sydney is - compare the Opera, Il Tabbora in Darling Harbour last week... no speeches (nor MC).

Beautiful place. Parramatta Park has it all. Lush greenery, a variety of tree species, creeks which flow into Parramatta River and many historic buildings such as Old Government House, Dairy Cottage, Rangers Cottage, Governor’s Bath House and the Boer War Memorial..
A walking and cycling track for people who want to exercise. Families can have a picnic or curious people can just explore the grounds. Its awesome. ..
