The Big Duck Boat Tours

Excellent experience. We chose the 45-minute seal Island tour at 10am. There is free parking at Victor Harbour and around 300m walk to the boat. Both the captain and guide are exceptional. We watch seals and dolphins. They provide a rain coat to wear, so no need to worry about the water spray on the tour 😉. Highly recommended. It was a family trip, and everyone enjoyed it.

I informed the company of some unique accessibility needs prior to our tour, to ensure the safety of my client and those around her. Despite the uniqueness of our requests they were absolutely fabulous and met every need to the best of their ability. I will 100% return and would recommend this to anyone, not only was it beautiful and fun but they allowed us to make it safe for my client to enjoy.

We loved this trip with Big Duck Boat Tours. Our excellent guide made it very interesting with her knowledge of the area and its animals. It was exciting to see sea lions, seals and dolphins in their natural habitats. Lots of fun going through the bigger waves and attention to safety issues made us feel very secure so we could fully enjoy the experience. Thank you for the opportunity 😀

Had amazing time on the southern ocean adventure cruise! We were lucky and saw a lot of dolphins and seals, also the weather was great! The captain and co-captain knew a lot about wildlife and loved their commentary throughout our journey!!

I booked this cruise to give my family an experience of seals and dolphins. We reached the causeway on time and were waiting for the boat to arrive. It was the 1 Pm cruise I booked so the reporting time was 12:45Pm. The captain of the boat and his colleague Jessica were amazing. They gave a safety briefing and do’s and don’t on the boat. They give you spray jackets to help protect from water splashing, which did not happen, but helped with people feeling cold. Victor Harbor has been chilling and the captain mentioned that the sun hasn’t come out in 6 days. The boat ride was really good my son enjoyed it the most, we spotted Seals and various cormorants. Got a view of Encounter bay and Turtle Island. Would suggest this to everyone for a short and fun boat ride. We were not lucky with dolphins. Kudos to The Big duck for making this memory with us! Thumbs up!!

Fantastic excursion on the sea. We were very lucky to have a perfect day, which was topped off by seeing so many beautiful dolphins playing around the boat. The scenery along the coast is rugged and picturesque. Our captain was friendly and very informative. Thoroughly recommend this trip.

Great professional and most enjoyable experience. Would highly recommend to anybody wanting to immerse themselves in the calming nature of being on the ocean. Fantastic scenery as well as the seals.

I have been on this trip several times with Year 6 kids as part of their school camp and loved every moment. We saw pods of dolphins close up as well as sea lions and points of interest along the way with the very informative staff. On 21/1/2024 I took my 83 year old Mum on this trip and it absolutely blew her away. She can’t stop talking about it.
I would highly recommend this trip.

I recently took a Big Duck Boat tour departing from Wirrina Cove and was absolutely amazed by the hidden Fleureu Peninsula coastline . Seeing Seals and Dolphins in their natural Habitat at a close range was an amazing experience which will be etched in my memory for the rest of my life.
The crew were very friendly, knowledgeable, well spoken and professional in all aspect of passenger care.
Highly recommend this tour and it s a family friendly tour suitable for kids of all ages..

I have Wanted to do this for years...I took an hour long cruise on the big duck along the coast from the Warrina Marina (down past second Valley and Rapid Bay). Stunning rugged coast, lots of seals the info was great and the boat was new,
Comfortable and we sat shaded on a perfect warm day! Highly recommended!! Even my 86 yo mother loved it!

This is really affordable and great experience anyone can have in Adelaide. It was a very great & fun ride. The staff is very hospitable & knowledgeable too. It was my first time seeing dolphins in my life & I was completely mesmerised.

I've done this tour 2x now. We did the 45-minute tour leaving from Wirrina - perfect for all ages. You get to see & appreciate parts of the coast, you would not experience unless you were on the water. I would highly recommend it.

Highly recommend this cruise! We did the 45 minute cruise which went by quickly, so I would recommend booking one of the longer time slots.

Would have loved the cruise to be an extra 15 minutes or so, it was such an amazing experience. Crew were great, very friendly. Saw seals, penguins, lots of sea birds. Great experience!

Seeing the stunning coastline on the Sea Wirrina cruise is just amazing. We saw seals and sea lions. Our tour guides, Jess and Jess, were informative and funny. Do yourself a favour and do this 60 minute cruise

I booked this as a family fun experience, first time my husband and kids had been on the ocean and they all love seals. This was a lovely fun and exciting trip that felt like just the right amount of time. The guides were friendly and informative without being boring about the local sites and animals. As well as seeing seals, having an exciting fast ride and amazing islands, I also got to see a sooty oystercatcher! Definitely recommend

Just went on the Sea the Fleurieu trip. Absolutely amazing. as a local, I've wanted to see this coastline from the sea for decades.

This is a wonderful experience. We did the 90 minute cruise, next time I will be doing the longer one. We had perfect weather and the seas were calm. Not only did we see amazing coastline, we also saw the spectacular wildlife which included seals and the most adorable dolphins, including babies! The commentary was informative and interesting and the hosts were more than happy to help you on and off the boat, (can be a bit tricky!) I thoroughly recommend this experience.

I have been on two tours now; the 45 minute and the 90 minute and they were both fantastic! We had a marine biologist onboard for the 45 minute and she was super knowledgeable, so I was very keen to bring my friend visiting from Victoria on the longer tour. We had a blast! Great boat handling by all the crew, incredible wildlife to see, super fun day out for all ages. Couldn’t recommend it more.

Very nice experience. Got to see dolphins and seals. Very courteous and helpful crew, Captain Kirk and his colleague Grace , very knowledgeable about the local wildlife. All in all a good experience and definitely recommended.
