THE CURL COLLECTIVE ADELAIDE

I went to The curl collective, Adelaide for the first time yesterday and I am absolutely ecstatic with my experience. Without needing the use of inspiration images, Lou designed me a personalised style to suit not only my face shape but my curl pattern, personality and style. She truly is a curly hair whisperer.
I found Lou to be warm and humble a private, quiet relaxing salon experience.

I wanted a fringe and was aways told not to as I don't suit it and dont get one with curly hair. Lou gave me my dream fringe.
As a curly hair person I have waited my 37 years to have cut like this that works with if not for my curl not against and certainly not a "straight cut". Lou obviously has great knowledge on curly hair and curl patterns. I waited a while to get in because Lou is so sort after but it was so worth the wait.

I have been visiting Lou at The Curl Collective for around 4 years now. The last time I visited the cut, the colour, everything was a little extra bit of perfection. I love it every time but this time I feel like the highlights settled in and it just looks so so pretty. It’s so comforting to know there is a hair stylist out there who can cut and style curly hair. For years I have been searching for this and Lou is the gold at the end of the rainbow.

Excellent place for curly haircuts. I have been going to Lou for a few years, and I always return happy and satisfied. It is a blessing to have a safe place for curls,... no stress and no anxiety. The rates are very reasonable, getting an appointment is always easy, and I don't have to wait for months. Lou even helped me with the hair donation and gave me a lovely haircut afterwards. A pleased customer! :)

Not only is Lou a trained curly hair specialist and a fantastic hairdresser, she has a knack of making every visit feel like you are special. Lou takes the time to listen to me and makes realistic suggestions for me to choose for my curly hair.
I will continue to drive the 3 hours one way to see her it's a very enjoyable experience.

Lou is a master at getting the most out of my very curly hair. Her advice on how to care for curls has helped take my hair from dry and frizzy to beautiful hydrated curls. Her cuts shape it beautifully and help my curls look their best and she uses colour which are gentle and look natural and bright.

Lou works absolute magic with curly hair! She is very knowledgeable and a great listener, and really takes the time to achieve the look you want! Couldn’t recommend her enough - if you have curly hair and live in Adelaide you should definitely give the Curl Collective a go! :)

Lou was very welcoming and I was lucky enough to find a hairdresser who knows the curly girl method and will do a dry cut. She also has a great range of products all curly girl friendly, I walked out of there feeling fab. If you are in Adelaide and are looking for a stylist who cares and listens I would recommend The Curl Collective.

I just had a dry cut on my curly hair this morning with Lou Marshall (ex-Little Hair Boutique, now The Curl Collective) and just loved it. She is very knowledgeable about the Curly Girl Method and uses CG approved products and techniques, which is a very rare find in this area. She also has some CG approved products for sale, like the Denman brush and the Everescents product range. Not only that, but Lou is a very friendly, warm and smiling person, which makes the (usually nerve wracking) experience of getting curly hair cut a breeze! I got a curly fringe and I absolutely adore my haircut. I highly recommend her.

Lou is miracle worker with all hair types, especially curly hair. She is easy-going, great listener with a beautiful, inviting salon. I’m constantly recommending her to friends and family. Thanks Lou!
