McCracken Country Club

Great location! The golf course is well-kept, offering a challenging yet enjoyable experience with its long fairways, many water features, and numerous sand traps. The accommodation is excellent, providing all the necessities for a comfortable stay. The bar and bottle shop are also good options for relaxation after a round of golf. Highly recommended for golf lovers and travelers!

3yrs later I’m back in the beautiful location.
Had couple of days break from work, although I don’t play golf the view was so calming & the staff was nice and the bar/bistro was lovely as well. Loved the view of this country club, loved the fact it has swimming pool, sauna and steam room within the hotel. Loved the spa in my room as well. If u looking for a calming, golf course with great view & location at reasonable price defo check this country club out 😊😏

The staff on reception and in the restaurant couldn’t have been more helpful and friendly for our two night stay last weekend. We really enjoyed our time there and were even motivated to use the gym, pool and sauna - a very nice and unexpected benefit to our lovely room. We were in room 320 and had fabulous views and a gorgeous sunset on our first night. A special mention to Amber who made our afternoon and mornings special with some superb coffees with our good value continental breakfasts 🙏

Good location. Good well maintained tough golf course, long with lots water and many bunkers and fast greens. Excellent accommodation. Good bar and bottle shop.

I go here just for the driving range. It's a nice laid back vibe. Teeing off from a hill gives you a bit of an ego boost as it makes you think you're hitting it further. Excellent location tucked away from everything and just a great time. I will say that the walk to the pro shop feels illegal despite the signage, it just feels like you shouldn't be walking down there but oh well

Amazing place with everything on site, including golf course. Rooms are good size with nice view. Service and food very good. Location a little out of main town but short taxi ride. Hope to go back.

Work trip. Comfortable place, great staff and good location. Stayed in the Spa Loft Room - it’s big, spacious and comfortable, however, the 2 x 2 seater couches are terribly stained and I didn’t use them. The room could do with a general “freshen up” as it looks tired. The food in the bistro is lovely and the staff were very accommodating.

Can't speak highly enough of this hotel. Nothing beats watching the sun rise and the sun set over the mountains and the green golf course, whilst sipping on a glass of wine, seated on the balcony of my room. Relaxation plus. Rooms spotless. King size bed and in room spa heavenly. Checking in is so easy because of Jane's friendliness and efficiency. Food in the hotel's restaurant is first rate. A stand out for me was the rhubarb, strawberry and star anise cobbler. Amber made my restaurant dining experience wonderful. She has a beautiful personality, well suited to her work. Pool, spa and gym facilities immaculate and first rate. Thank you. I will return.

I was here for a family gathering. The staff were excellent and very caring.
The food and drink were plentiful, and the view of the golf course was very picturesque.

We had a $30 all you can eat breakfast. It was fantastic 👏

Golf course is looking good. Greens are rolling well and well maintained. Fairways are in good order. Beautiful view from the balcony.

Stayed here over the long weekend. Very lovely place. Rooms were big in size, TV worked well, the bed was comfy, had a spa bath but didn't use it. View from the room was spectacular, nice shower. Ample parking & Friendly staff.

We had Tea and coffee making facility's within the room, however had no milk or bottled water provided.

Dinner at the bistro was delicious & Breakfast was also super yummy. Smashed avo was delicious.

This place has one word: beautiful. The rooms are brilliantly appointed and smart, with very comfortable beds. The staff are wonderful, and they are willing to help out in any way they can. It backs on to a golf course, which is immaculately kept.
This was an amazing stay.

Can not fault it. We paid double the price for a room at the Stamford Plaza in Adelaide and it was complete rubbish compared to McCracken.

Honestly wanting to go back again.

We were not sure what to expect based on a few average reviews from other guests, however our 2 day stay in a 2 bedroom apartment was quite pleasant. The room & facilities were very clean & tidy, with only the odd carpet stain or paint defect that are indicative of the age of the resort. We complimented the housekeeping team personally. Our dining experience in the Bistro was outstanding. I had the oven baked Atlantic salmon one evening & the lamb shoulder the following night. Both dishes were perfect in every way & the staff were genuinely interested & cheerful in serving up an unforgettable experience. Thank you for making our stay something to remember.

What a fantastic place. We had a great time and the food was just as amazing. The service was great and friendly staff. The room was clean and quite sufficient. There's a swimming pool etc. and of course a golf course.

What an amazing place to stay , reception staff, restaurant staff , meals, cleaners of rooms , all went above and beyond with service .
Meals were just delicious, had the most beautiful 3 days here ,and will definately return. You should all be congratulated you are outstanding . Thankyou again for a wonderful 3 nights stay .
