Cleaver Street Deli

Lived around the corner from this place for a few years, couldn't have been more convenient. Owners are total legends, friendly, gave me cheap/free stuff on the reg, real ol' mom and pop store. Could not recommend enough.

Terrible! Have been visiting this deli twice a week or so on my way to work to get brekky for a good 8 years, never pay much attention just tap my card. Today I noticed I was charged $8.50 for a $6.50 sandwhich. Asked the lady and she just stared at me like a stunned mullet. After checking my statement they have been doing this for years and skimming on the top. I have 0 issues with people putting a small % on top to cover EFT chargers, but 30% on top? Dogey very dishonest people.

Would not recommend going here , got serious food poisoning from eating a burger , never been so sick in my life , another worker on my site also got sick and another guy said he also had a burger and the bun had mould on it . Stay away !! Will be reporting to health authorities
