We took our animal loving son to see some Interesting animals. It was a on a weekday before NSW school holidays. Bought tickets online easy process.

There was no wait.
The good: lots of animals friendly staff. Amenities accessible. Cafe was well stocked.

The bad: not much to say here, except maybe if it’s a wet day the footpaths would be horrible as it’s dirt and gravel?

The ugly: nothing at all.

Definitely recommend the Wildlife park for visiting with young kids.

P.S. you could also feed the lions and get a photograph for a fee.

Keep up the great work team.

Great place to get to know Australian endemics. The Zoo is small but well organized. The zookeepers are the best! They are very empathetic and very committed. It was great to learn about the Tasmanian devils so many interesting facts. The only sad thing for me is the conditions in which koalas live. A famous cafe, this is not the place for them to live well. I was sorry to watch the kids scream and the koals try to sleep. I wish they had calm peace.

We really enjoyed our visit to the Zoo. It was interesting seeing the different indigenous animals. The Zookeepers are great at sharing interesting facts in an engaging manner.

It was very special to share our visit to the Zoo with a group of youth supported by Care Support (NDIS). It was heartwarming to witness the care towards disabled individuals and how the children enjoyed seeing the animals.

I'm glad we visited and got to see the Tree Kangaroo, Wombats, Koalas, Wallabies & all other creatures living in this happy space. Worth a visit if you need to be occupied or fill 1.5 - 2hrs👍

A fantastic zoo if you want to see and learn about Australian animals. It's not big, so don't go expecting to spend a whole day there, but we did the Koala breakfast which was preceded by a guided tour from Jeff (who was really knowledgeable and friendly) and after the Koala breakfast we could go round the zoo before it opened to the public.
It was basically exactly what we wanted. The wombat was my fave.

Couldn’t decide between this and taragona zoo.
This was absolutely perfect for what we wanted - the koalas are GORGEOUS.
We just wanted to see the main Aussie animals - kangaroos, wombats, Tasmanian devils, crocs and koalas and this place didn’t disappoint.
Have been to many zoos and seen animals sleeping in the distance but this is very close and hands on - LOVED IT@@@

I love this place, they have so many cool animals, they have spiders, snakes, kangaroos, koalas, Tasmanian devils, wombats, crocodiles, cute mouses, the most dangerous bird in the world, lizards and many more.
The venue is well maintained, you can book online so you don’t need to line up at the front. A general entry ticket cost A$48 but check for deals on their website.
The venue has a café and you can pay for a photo with a koala.
Suggestion: get more spiders and tarantulas.

I don’t normally go to zoos but really wanted to see animals of Australia. When we went on a Sunday at 10:30am, it was not crowded. We were staying in Darling Harbour and it was close by and easy to visit without a wait. The keepers were very interesting and engaging. We were in there about an hour.

I didn’t take pictures of the animals. You should go to see them.

The Zoo Keepers really knew their charges. Both Owen and I were very impressed with the outlay of the facility being in the middle of a city the animals did not look cramped, unwell, harassed, and they looked very calm during our visit the staff was friendly informative. the facility was clean and the animals are actually out for display even though it was 45°C Today I would suggest this as a good place to visit. It doesn’t take long to go through and it’s easy to arrive there.

Today I saw koalas and kangaroos for the first time in my life!
I have been to many places outside of Sydney but have never been able to find kangaroos in the wild, but I am glad I was able to see them here at this zoo😆

The koalas were sleeping and were so cute❤. They were sleeping on a tree. It is fascinating that you can take pictures with koalas if you pay for it.
The kangaroos weren't very active either, but I was able to see them jumping around a bit. I think the other thing that impressed me was the crocodiles. The crocodiles are scary and the keeping staff seems to have a hard time.
I would have liked to have seen a wallaby, but it was nice to see a hikidori as well.

The zoo was not that big, so I went around Wildlife more quickly than I expected. I probably saw everything in less than an hour. If you are not satisfied, I also recommend SEA LIFE next door!

I saw kangaroos and koalas, so I was very satisfied. Thanks a lot ✨

What a great place right in the city. We did the breakfast with the koalas experience and it was fantastic, from the highlights tour with the keeper Oliver to the kangaroo walk about, a hot delicious breakfast but my fav has to be the crocodile viewing space it was awesome. Thanks so much a great day

Definitely suited our purpose and saw all the Austrailian animals, including Kangaroos and Kualas. (Saved a little money and did a two stop deal and saw the Aurium as well.) The complex is a pretty good maze and it was easy to miss a door, so pay attention before walking on, because it is easy to miss something. For us, it was great because all the animals were viewable, but the flip-side is that, to me, some of the habitats to me seemed a little small for the animals. The animals appeared to be happy, so no worries here.

We weren't in a hurry, and it took about an hour and a half to go through.

This place was So Much Fun! We did the Koala photo experience and while you can't touch or hold the koalas, you get closer to them than from the general viewing area, and the keeper can tell you the history of the bears there. 💯 enthusiastically recommend!

Enjoyed the Koala Breakfast at the zoo. Arrived at 7:30 and got a tour of the zoo before breakfast (and before it opened to the public). Justine was a wonderful guide. Very knowledgeable and had great energy. Buffet style breakfast was around 8:30. There were at least 10 koalas around and you could get up as much as you wanted to take photos. We were lucky enough to see a couple of joeys! Around 9:30 Justine began taking photos of people with the koalas. By 10 we had our photo taken and then we went and walked around the zoo a bit more.
For me, it was definitely worth the price for the experience. The only slight negative was waiting for breakfast til 8:30. Maybe eat a light snack if you're like me and wake up early and are hungry right away.

Amazing facilities and the animals looked really happy.

Unlike many other zoos, the animals here at WILD LIFE are out and about and are visible to visitors.

Great place to visit

Easy visit on a busy weekend. Everyone seemed to be interested in the aquarium and avoided the zoo, so it was pretty empty inside with no lines anywhere.

Do not go during the hottest part of the day as everyone will be asleep. Although it was still very interesting. There's ticket kiosks out front, and they do suggest booking a time slot. But it had every time available for the next week so k wouldn't bother booking in advance unless it's cheaper.

Hi all 😊 A-Maz-ing!
My family and I travelled by train into Central and walked down to Darling Harbour Wild Life Zoo,
The Staff were all buzzing around and very friendly and so nice to talk to, they are enthusiastic and passionate, and we had a million questions
Some of the animals are quite old but you wouldn't know as they are very well taken care of, just beautiful ❤
Fabulous experience

Great selection of Native animals. There is Koala viewing with an extra charge for up close photos.

Small but meaningful.
It's located in Darling Harbor, so it's a good place to stop by during your busy schedule. This is the first place where I saw a koala waking up and moving. 😆

Small zoo. We enjoyed walking through the zoo. I felt it complemented our visit to the Tonga zoo. We spent about an hour walking through as part of a combo ticket.
