Excellent and beautiful and totally worth going to see especially on sunset, there’s load of beautiful introduced waterlillies, plenty of birds including black neck storks, might even see a buffalo and a crocodile if you look closely but not too close! It’s also free how’s that for a bargain..

This conservation area is amazing. There are so many different bird species here. The two designated tracks offer different specialities. The left boardwalk track is beautiful, especially when the Lotus Lilly are in bloom. The right track offers more rainforest-like birds such as Rose-crowned Fruit-dove and Rainbow Pitta.

Don't miss the road down the middle. It can't be walked due to crocs, but you are still able to drive through and stop at the hides along the way. At the end of the track there is a multi level bird hide where you can spot many more birds and possibly crocs.

It is best to visit this place early in the morning (dry season) for maximum birds, and comfort temperature wise.

If you are visiting NT and you like birds or nature areas, definitely visit this place!

We came here to wait for a jumping croc tour and we are so glad we did visit this area. There are 3 mains walks which are displayed on the information board, all of them were great. Currently the main dam wall is closed for walking due to crocs (but you can still drive and quickly get out!) The walks are very easy and flat, great for all and shaded in most areas. You will see stunning birdlife and lilies in this region, it’s amazing.

Incredible concentration of a huge number of different birds. The forest walk is fantastic, very beautiful, couldn't help walking quietly just to capture all the sounds. A special place to visit, and so close to Darwin

I had the most incredible experience here... The monsoon walking track will stay with me forever! No crocodiles in the wetlands but it was the wrong season for it. A truly beautiful place!!

Beautiful to see a bit more water at Fogg Dam today. Not much in the way of birds to see but a nice drive to get out of the city and lot's of Lotus Lily's in flower.

Really beautiful spot. Was here in the dry season (August) and the lillies were flowering and birds were everywhere. Would love to come here in the wet season though, as there wasn't much water around and it all looked very dry.
