Bupa Aged Care Echuca

From the moment mum walked in, in desperate need of kind care, everyone at Bupa Echuca have made us feel very welcome. They have guided us through all that was required, adjusted to mum's needs over time and continue to provide exceptional support to her and our family. The atmosphere, along with the food, entertainment and services provided are outstanding. Thank you to Lailani, along with the rest of her staff, for doing such a wonderful job.

My husband and I did a tour of Bupa Echuca in July 2022 to see what we thought of the facility before we suggested it to my stepmother. The first thing we noticed was how happy and helpful all of the staff were (and not just the lovely ladies that conducted the tour). Everyone was smiling including the residents and that gave us our first indication that this would be the right place for her.
The rooms were all big and bright and had a sliding door to the garden area outside rather than a window. We chose a room straight away and then picked Edna up for her tour to make sure she liked it. Needless to say she did and has been at Bupa Echuca since August 2022. She is very happy there and has developed fantastic friendships with other residents. Her health has improved and she is enjoying the company of others and the activities while still being able to have her own space and privacy when she needs to. It is wonderful for all in the family to know that she is happy and also being so well looked after. We cannot thank Lailani and the entire staff at Bupa Echuca enough for putting the smile back on our Ebby’s face and giving her a new lease on life.

My mother was so reluctant to leave her home. She has been at Bupa for two months and I havnt seen her ao happy for many years. She has found all the staff to be so friendly and very helpful. Her physical and cognitive needs are challenging but are no problem to the staff at Bupa. On a personal note, I feel so unburdened of the resposibility for her care, though I am happy to keep my finger on the pulse with the assistance and guidance of the staff.

Staff are very helpful, going out of their way to assist. The facility is modern, staff are very friendly and engaging. They know the residents well, and always have a friendly smile.

One of the best aged care facilities I have known. My mother resides their past 4 years. I have worked in aged care and continue to work in aged care at times in Melbourne. Hard working staff. Manager and clinical staff open to communication about resident issues and work together with family, and resident to resolve any issues arising. Friendly hard working staff providing bus outings and many activities.

Can't fault the place or care one bit! Amazing, smiley, friendly, caring staff. Always making sure the residents are happy, with the best care. Amazing meals. My nan couldn't be happier here.

Care of my dad, particularly by Mon-Wednesday staff is amazing. Relationships between client, carers and family is top notch, right down to the front desk receptionist greeting and GM.

I have found the services provided by Bupa Echuca to be of the highest standard. All aspects of the service are very much person focused and humanistic in nature providing a safe and respectful environment for the residents. My sister (Margaret Oman) is extremely happy with the facility and the care provided. The management of the facility is highly committed to providing quality health care delivery that addresses the complex needs of the residents both as a collective and on an individual basis, which is clearly evident at all levels of the facility's professional health care staff and administration. As a health professional myself, I made my assessment of the facility over a substantive period of time. I have no hesitation in recommending Bupa Echuca to others as a quality health care service.

It was with a significant amount of trepidation that we placed my Dad in BUPA Echuca for respite care. However, we were pleasantly surprised.

The nursing home is bright and new with plenty of space for residents to mingle or find a quiet corner. There are great facilities including a sports room, dining area and the gardens are lovely.

The BUPA team are excellent…they have faced challenges over the past year including COVID, floods and staff shortages…but they are always focused on patient care. The team customise their care to the individual resident…encouraging them to join in the range of activities the home offers…or leaving them to quiet solitude.

Lailani and the team are open to feedback, both positive and constructive and we found that we could communicate our and my Dad’s needs and they would be respected. There is a ‘can-do’ attitude and a sense that they are always trying to improve their care.

Residents are well cared for here.

I found this place an absolute nightmare
My mother high risk of falls fell first night because nurse thought she could walk back from toilet
Next day no wash or shower
Following day when rang bell for assistance to toilet told she had a nappy on wee in that and no wash or shower that day either
I then took my mother out of that place and would not recomend it to worst enemy

Looks like they might have a scabies problem.
