Cann River Hotel

Stopped here on our way through as it looked like a nice rustic pub.we were a little late for lunch, missed out on the stir-fry everyone is raving about but they still had a limited menu available.
Got the fish and chips and my companion got the calamari

I was super impressed with the fish never expected it to be so good.

Beer was cold :), atmosphere was pleasant and welcoming.

Stayed at the free caravan park. Nipped over for a beer and a feed - wow. Fantastic country pub the stir fried beef and curry chicken sensational. Just a pity that the packed free caravan park did not support the local business

Very friendly helping people, nice country small hotel, food was great. Will go back just to see the people who run this beautiful little town. Great place for your dog's

Lovely people at the hotel and a fabulous meal prepared. Please people staying overnight at the park, go and visit at least for a beer/wine or even freshly cooked meal 😃😃

Great meals, and wonderful service. Not too many patrons tonight, sadly, but that was our bonus - we had a great chat with our hosts, and were given great information about the history of the pub.

We stopped on our way through to Eden at 5pm and even though the kitchen didn’t open until 6pm the lovely lady behind the bar still cooked us a delicious chicken parma dinner! Thank you :)

Came to support the pub while staying in the caravan park for free. Had 2 parmis which were hot and yummy.

Doesn’t look like the bees knees but I can tell ya right now.. the food is great! Good pub grub on the menu-ya Basics but I went for the chicken stir fry,, wow! Just wow! After a day of riding-kicking back at friendly pub and having this light and very tasty meal-I’m impressed-the flavours better than some of the fancy Chinese Resturants back in Melbourne

Wonderful staff and the Chicken Stir Fry was absolutely delicious. Also recommend the Snitzel and Bangers n Mash. Really tasty home cooked feel to the meals. Really accommodating for Gluten allergy. We will be back.

We were just passing through, on our way to Melbourne and had to make a pit stop as it was dark. The town was closed pretty much!
We found the pub and decided to go for a drink after booking into a drive in motel opposite

We asked for a couple of pints ( being British) as you do. Got served with a very warm welcome and a friendly chat, and some very good ale
We had missed the food cut off unfortunately

After sitting down and relaxing the landlady came over and offered to cook us weary travellers some chicken satay and rice, which we gladly accepted

Had an excellent evening while visiting family a couple of nights ago. All three of us thoroughly enjoyed our meals. Warm, welcoming vibe from our hosts and the beer was wonderfully cold and clean. Get behind these guys if you are staying or passing through town.

Very friendly and welcoming! Chicken schnitty, chips and salad was fresh and delicious and the beer was cold and tasty

Lovely old original country pub with amazing history.
100 year old stair case is from a ship wrecked off the coast back in the day.

Highly recommend the stir fry chicken, delicious, owners are wonderful people.

Great staff! New owners, a lovely couple. We arrived 10 pm and although the kitchen was closed they helped us and made a great Hawaiian pizza. The accommodation was still under renovation. I totally recommend to stop by!

Graeme and Jodie were the bestest hosts. Great friendly casual pub with a good selection of bistro dishes. Definitely worth a stopover.

Great country pub with excellent beer and food. Owners were very welcoming. If you're stopping in Cann River this is the place to go too.

Nice cold beer after a long drive and even though the kitchen wasn't open we were kindly given some fresh fruit for us and our baby. A warm welcome from the new owners, looking forward to coming back!
