From the moment we stepped into The Forestta, it was clear we were in for a treat! Nestled in a cozy nook that whispers of enchantment and culinary delights, this restaurant captured our hearts and taste buds. The ambiance is a dreamy escape, where every corner is thoughtfully designed to transport you to a lush, green wonderland.

The highlight of our evening, however, was not just the mesmerizing setting, but the gastronomical adventure led by none other than the incredibly talented Chef Tanya. What a gem! She brought our dining experience to life with vibrant flavors and a personal touch that was simply unforgettable.

The pièce de résistance of the night was the specially crafted pizza — oh, what a masterpiece! Chef Tanya went above and beyond, decorating the pizza with our initials in a deliciously edible script. It wasn't just food; it was art. Each bite was a mix of perfect crust, tangy sauce, and gooey cheese, making it clear that this dish was made with a lot of love and care.

But it wasn’t just about the food; it was also about the company. The staff at The Forestta made sure we felt like part of their family, with warm smiles and attentive service. Dining here wasn’t just eating out; it was an experience, a celebration of good food and great company.

In conclusion, The Forestta isn't just a restaurant; it's a magical journey that touches your soul.

Passed this cafe after getting off the train whilst walking along pier st with my clients what a lovely place and friendly staff. I bought caramel slices and a brownie for my clients and they all enjoyed them . I ordered a choc chip muffin which was huge and freshly made in the morning it was delicious and such a great place we will definitely have lunch there next time .

My absolute go to dine in the area. Very welcoming ambiance, nice tasting food, reasonable price and amazing tasty food. I highly recommended the seafood platter, and I’m looking forward to my next visit.

It's taken me a while to get to Creme but I'm so glad that recently I was able to share it with my adult kids. As people who used to eat out a lot, we are just putting our toes back into the water and trying dining out again.
On a beautiful autumnal day, we were able to secure a table outdoors under the awning. The cafe was busy with diners under umbrellas avoiding the mid morning sun. Adults, teens, kids, couples, friends, families, dogs and more. A lovely atmosphere.
My 22 yo son had the Big Breakfast Board and as a 6'4" lad, he has a big appetite. He said it was the best big breakfast he'd ever had. The little side dish of muesli, fruit and panna cotta made it that bit more special and certainly caught our eyes as it was placed on the table.
My daughter loves her burgers and certainly ticked all her boxes. My other daughter had the lamb pizza and it was a good size - enough that she asked for a container and took some home with her.
In this cafe you scan a QR code that is on the table. You order and pay online. It's so cool because you can see what each meal looks like. Entrees, mains, drinks - all can be ordered online. Took us about 10 minutes to realise this as we waited for someone to give us menus. However, our order didn't go through and after 20 minutes I went inside and spoke to the staff. They were so apologetic, took my order and ensured it was hurried through. And it was. Meals on the table in 15 minutes!
Each meal was a good portion size and when we asked for some more sauce, it was at the table in a flash.
Big shout out to Creme and all the staff - the chefs, the waiting staff, the cleaners - everyone. I work in hospitality and was rapt to see the quality on every level.
Covid-19 compliant and although we don't have to use QR codes any more, they were still up (just in case).
Parking - this section of Pier Street has been closed off from Queen Street to Blythe Street so parking is in the side streets. No meters but parking limits are around 2 hours.
Disability - Disabled friendly both indoors and outdoors.
Dietaries - Well covered and the staff are happy to accommodate any special dietary requirements. Good range for vegetarians and vegans.
Dog friendly. A bowl of water available for the canine members of your family.
Toilets - didn't notice if it had toilets, but if not, there are public toilets only 100m away in the nearby park.
I highly recommend Creme to everyone and enjoy the delights of Altona.

Read the reviews and was a bit worried. It was the only option for a large group that was dog friendly 🐕 service was great. They helped move some people to get us all together and the food came out fairly quick (it was a Tuesday lunch). Everyone was very happy with the food with a mix of all day breakfast and chicken parma or snitzel plus a few coffees and shakes. It was all fresh and tasty. Price was a bit high but worth it for the quality and atmosphere. I would recommend not sure what happened when other people rated foor poorly 🤔 night-time chef ?

I went here for brunch today, customer service very good, good value and very clean. I had the folded omelette which had Roasted pumpkin, mushrooms with asparagus and pine nuts, it was very tasty. Highly recommended.

Lovely place with good food, service and atmosphere. We had the breakfast board and eggs Benedict plus some coffee. We were happy and will come back.

It was a bit new for me to have some pancota and Muesli on my big breakfast but it actually turned out so good having something a but sweet at the end made the experience so much better.
Coffees pretty decent and the staff member who served us was quite funny will be back in the future for sure

We were visiting Altona and we decided to have some brunch at Creme. Although the place was full, we found a spot at the back. Staff was friendly and the service quick.
I had the paleo breakfast with the very yummy roasted pumpkin and my partner had the protein pancakes. Very fluffy and delicious!! We will be back to try the new flavour!

Very spacious and neatly presented cafe. They have a large menu to pick from and the coffee is pretty stellar here. They have some nice pastries to choose from as well.

Great place to go after AUSkick, was very busy and drinks came after the meal but the staff are friendly and working hard. The pancakes were a great portion, good value for money.

Had brekky here and totally loved the chilli eggs I ordered.
Was torn between that and the eggs benny, but was happy with my choice.
Staff were really friendly.
Large dining area with outdoor option.
Coffee was very good, so I ordered a second one.
