Beautiful large waterfall. Can go down to the bottom and see the falls at different points on the way down. Can also follow the creek on another track once at the bottom. Popular site so it was busy. Toilets and 3 picnic tables beside the main car park. There are quite a few steps and steep hill, not stroller or wheelchair friendly.

Just 550mts walk down the hill to this amazing waterfall. The walk is easy while getting down and while climbing its a bit heavy ( not much - climbing strais).
Its good for a swim down at falls or you can just sit and watch the water running giving a calmer experience.
Good to carry a extra pair of clothes if you change your mind for a quick swim.

I experienced the majesty of Mackenzie Falls, and I still find myself thinking about it.

The hike down offers stunning glimpses of the falls, building anticipation for the main event.

Once at the bottom, the sheer power and cascading beauty left me speechless. If you love nature, this is a must-visit in Victoria!

The waterfall is really beautiful as you have to walk about 15 minutes down from the parking to reach this beautiful waterfall. The track might get slippery and the weather might be windy so proper outfit is recommended. Loved the beautiful waterfall as we took lots of photos for memories.

McKenzie Falls in the Grampians National Park is a breathtaking spectacle of nature, where cascading waters create a mesmerizing display that leaves visitors in awe. Would recommend visiting during weekdays where there will be lesser crowd.

Very large waterfall, lots of stairs to walk down from the carpark though and some can be slippery, so take your time and don’t rush.
There was an entrance sign that is clearly very old and faded, maybe the park rangers should look at replacing the signs.
Also a sign to say don’t cross to the other side of the waterfall, even though we saw several people that did.

Be aware of steep steps. You do not need to go if you are not a huge fan of waterfalls. It is a very long way down hills with a lot of steps. The waterfall is very small.

Beautiful area. Rushing water, a rainbow, and q blue sky!
I recommend walking down the bottom of the stairs as there's another great walk with river views toward the Zumstein picnic area.
The stairs can get pretty steep so make sure you hold the rail.
Plenty of parking, and restrooms.

Plenty of parking.
Toilets.
Walking to the lookout 960 meters, easy walk.
Walk/steps down to Falls, many steps, more challenging walk coming up, but worth it

Probably the most well-known waterfall in the Grampians, but is only accessible up close by descending down a long flight of steps into the gorge. There is another lookout on top of the gorge which offers more distant views and is at the end of a short flat walk from the car park, which itself is just a short drive off Mt Victory Road. It's quite popular so you will probably have to share the place with many others, unless you come early. There is a track which follows the gorge downstream and is less popular.

One of the most beautiful waterfalls I've seen in late autumn, with a lot of water flowing, at a close range to where you could stand and admire them

About 25 mins drive from Halls gap and this is what awaits you. The place is one of my favourite place to visit while in Grampians. Beautiful place with great lookout points like Broken falls lookout which is about 180m walk from main entrance point. See photos for views from these points.

On the way you can visit Reeds lookout and Balconies, which is a bonus. Once you visit the falls, the trail leads further 2kms to reach fish falls. If you have time and energy, it’s a walk worth giving a try.

A bit of steep steps as you approach the falls, not recommended for people with joint issues. And slippery surface as well. Be extra careful no matter how good your shoes are.

Toilets and ample parking available. Weather can be teasingly wet, with slight drizzle and sunny. People with pram, might have to leave it in your car boot.

I recently visited the falls, and I was truly captivated by the mesmerizing water flow. The entire place exudes beauty and is a fantastic destination for a family outing. However, it's essential to be prepared for a bit of physical activity, as you'll need to descend and climb back up. It's wise to bring water or energy drinks, especially if you're traveling with kids.

I visited during a public holiday, and the crowd was quite significant. Nevertheless, the area outside the falls makes for a delightful picnic spot. There are comfortable seating options available, and you can also enjoy your meal under the refreshing shade of the trees.

Great during the summer, be sure to go under the rails and cross to the otherside. Be super careful going in though as the rocks are so slippery as they're covered in algae. Pretty much everyone was slipping and falling in, and also struggling to get out!

Nestled in the heart of Grampians National Park, MacKenzie Falls stands as a testament to nature's grandeur. Cascading gracefully from rugged cliffs, its waters create a symphony of sound and a visual spectacle. The lush surroundings and the sheer majesty of the falls make it a haven for serenity and awe.

Such a beautiful place to visit. A bit crowded during holidays but not too bad. Definitely worth visiting. The way back up is through the steps and it can be a bit strenuous. If you have time, definitely extend the walk up to fish falls and you won’t regret it.

pretty little waterfall. nothing too spectacular, but the water spray put up a nice rainbow for us. the overhanging sandstone cliffs were stunning and formidable.

came as a tour so the stairs were pretty clustered at one point in time at the bottom of the mackenzie falls. stairs are pretty high on the way up/down too, so not for those with knee problems.

Incredible spot. Great views from the first look out above the falls. then a nice easy walk around to the look at that faces the waterfalls. Well worth doing. Then if you have the energy you must walk down the stairs to get to the bottom of the falls for the best view of the falls. Allow plenty of time to explore.
One time in the carpet we were greeted by a kangaroo. Another time an emu.
