Hard Hill Tourist Reserve

Shhh- this is a gem of a place to free camp! Set in the middle of gold diggings, plenty of space, toilets and hot showers available ( with deposit of $20.00 at the visitor information centre) and walking distance to the town. Furry friend and fires allowed. Don’t tell anybody else :)

A hidden gem of bush camping .Plenty of areas to set up camp 96 hours Max. If you need showers n toliets key available at info centre $ 20 deposit If using power, toliets n showers a $ 5 pp donation goes a long way to help with costs .Shops,street art and museum well worth a visit . Quite a few reviews mention free camping .Whilst you are not asked for donation it really helps to donate a small amount for upkeep ..Especially uf you use showers which are clean with lovely hot water , clean flush toliets and some power outlets .Rubbish bins also provided .Leave this place as you would like to find it please ,so we can all return to stay again .

Picnic, BBQ and camping facilities here, some shaded campsites available. Reserve is on the Loddon Shire Blue Mallee Bike Trail, a well marked and easy 8k loop that passes various points of interest. Campground a short bike ride from town.

A beautiful free camp, hot showers, beautiful shady trees with plenty of wildlife.
Please remember to donate some dollars so they can keep improving the area, we all benefit from that

Just spent a weekend herewith friends....Excellent facilities with free hot showers,,,Bring your own wood and dogs are allowed...heaps of camp sites. The towns folk are very friendly and must be congratulated on their management of the camp ground...Pick up a key to showers and toilets from the Information office in the town. Loved it!

Great spot. Flushing toilet, shower and a short walk into town. Great overnighter.

There is very nice atmosphere in this park. Very homelike shower and toilet (with book shelfs and just cozy, and more importantly clean). The campsite is free with small donations for using showers. there is also opportunity to connect camper-van to power for some extra money. Nice community and some history to this place.

Was a great place to have a picnic lunch! Free camping with heaps of spots but make sure you goto the information centre intown to pick up a key for the toilet/showers ($20 deposit)

I've enjoyed the stay at Hard Hill tourist reserve on many ocasision. Remember it is not a caravan park. But a place where campers can stay short term for a donation to the Information Centre. Toilets, a hot shower and undercover area. Many like minded and great people meet.

Loverly place to stop for a break. I had a BBQ for lunch it was great. I also discovered exercise equipment behind the park. Very good.

It was a hot dry day when we went but a very interesting place lots of mining info and clean toilets to use while you explore

Brilliant camping area, toilets and showers. Donation envelopes in shower block.. Grounds kept spotless by volunteers. I will be returning for sure.

Nice camping and campervan area. Has toilets, picnic area and a Eucy distillery that is run for tourists.

The toilets were locked 🔒 but lovely place.
