Wedderburn Hotel

Saturday night at the hotel was more fun than I'd anticipated, loads of friendly locals who were welcoming and funny, will definitely be back. Accommodation was cosy and comfortable, very clean, very relaxing atmosphere in an awesome little town. Highly recommend.

This hotel is beautiful. The staff the very friendly, located in a very quiet place. The rooms and bathrooms are clean, everything is just great.
If you have issues with finding it on the place you need to know that the hotel is just behind the bar.

Fantastic country pub. Angie, Pam & Billy were very friendly and welcoming. Delicious food and drinks. Craig runs a great venue. Highly recommend!

Fantastic atmosphere with friendly and knowledgeable staff that genuinely present this historic establishment with a great sense of community comradery and charisma with plenty of laughs, hospitality, cold beer, excellent food and entertainment. The accommodation was very good, comfortable and fairly priced given the circumstances of the Jan '24 flash floods.

The Wedderburn hotel stayed true to their online accommodation rate and hence why we chose to stay, so glad we did. Thankyou to the staff.. We will be back!

The publican is always welcoming. Beer is cold and food menu is pretty extensive. Must try is the southern fried chicken!

We didn't expect to stay in Wedderburn Hotel for 2 days. But Wedderburn hotel is a gem in Victoria countryside. I was with my boyfriend on the roadtrip from Adelaide to Queensland. It was a rainy day and my car lost control and drove into a muddy field. And there was no signal of my phone. So desperate. Luckily my boyfriend drove his own car and found there was a small town about 17 km away from my car. Thus, we stayed in Wedderburn hotel that night. The price is affordable and the staff are friendly. The owner Greig is so kind and compassionate. I just complained to him what I experienced and didn't expect any assistance from him. He told me that one staff may have the towing equipment to tow my car. He would contact the staff to tow my car the next day. I felt so surprised. The next day the staff Bill and Craig, me and my bf went to the field the tow my car out of the water. And it was still drivable. I didn't know how to express my gratitude. The policeman and insurance company didn't offer any assistance but these two kindest strangers helped me from a tragedy as all my belongings were inside the car and I was moving from Adl to Qld. Then we stayed one more night in the hotel to dry my car and enjoyed a delicious dinner in the hotel. The atmosphere of this hotel is quiet and welcoming. All the staff are friendly. We just spent a lovely couple of hours at the Wedderburn hotel.
Stranded on our way home and lucky enough to find ourselves straight down the street from this gem.
Beautifully air-conditioned, and very welcoming staff. Enjoyed a few drinks and snacks and stayed for a great dinner. Kid friendly too.
Will definitely pop in on our next road trip!!

So yum! Got a pepperoni pizza and the apple pie they were delicious! Well done to everyone serving and cooking beautiful meals and making yum drinks tonight! You've really got the place looking and feeling so great! 2 meals here and it's been nothing short of impressive! My husband and I unplanned drove to Wedderburn for lunch on Grand Final Friday, and it turned out to be a fantastic experience. The hotel staff treated us with warm and kind service, and the pizzas were both generously sized and incredibly delicious. We had leftovers, and the staff proactively offered a takeaway container without us asking. Later, we enjoyed the remaining meal for dinner at our hotel near Sea Lake, where the back garden provided a perfect, peaceful setting to savour the flavours. A definite five out of five from me!

Went to the Pub for lunch today, food was excellent. We were able to bring our dog through to the beer garden. My Pama was huge and my wife tried the new Vietnamese Noodle Salad with prawns and she loved it thanks Craig and his staff will definitely return

We had dinner here on a Friday night and the place was packed. But in saying that, the food was great, service exceptional and fast, the staff were happy, friendly and helpful. Considering the amount of customers the food arrived in a timely manner and was delicious 😋. Portions are on the 'larger' size. I would highly recommend this hotel.

Called twice now. Their pizzas are fantastic.

Great prices, thin crust, very generous seafood topping. Not too much cheese.

Vego pizzas equally great.

Call in for a meal. Very large menu, tropical pub fare, some great alternatives, pizzas.

Seafood pizza and a glass of wine for under $25.

Stopped in here by chance as we needed a meal on a late trip home from Melbourne, knew we were taking pot luck as country pubs can be hit and miss. We both ordered the Mexican Parma, obviously tiered and not thinking straight, you should always stick with the classics in unknown pubs. However, the meals were absolutely fantastic, could not fault them at all!
Staff were friendly and efficient, the meals arrived relatively quickly which was welcomed and surprising given the kitchen seemed relatively busy.
My lovely wife was extremely complimentary about the cleanliness of the female toilets, something about “cleanest pub toilets” she has ever visited.
Sadly we had to hit the road as soon as we had finished our meals, I would have loved to hang around for a couple of beers.
Not sure when, but I will be back, definitely a great place to stop for a great quick meal!

Was just passing through with my family needing lunch. So glad we stopped by this pub. Service was quick, friendly. Kids thought the fish and chips were delicious, and they can be fussy eaters. For me personally, I had one of the best chicken snitchzels, I've had in a long time. Not oily, juicy chicken and larger size... Hefty serve of mash and veg also for the sides. Great outdoor dining area on the side and bar has a good variety of drinks. This place is definitely worth a visit for a drink and definitely the food. I hear it's under new management recently too.

Thank you to all the team at The Wedderburn Hotel. Absolutely fantastic country pub with a huge open fireplace, friendly welcoming bar staff, delicious food, my husbands chicken schnitzel was enormous. We stayed in the recently renovated accommodation, gorgeous linen with lots of homely luxurious finishing touches. Friday night raffle was also a highlight, lots of fun. Highly recommend.

The fastest and really first class meals, great atmosphere, very polite staff. Been there twice and I'll be there a third before heading back to Qld. It's too good not to go back

We had dinner at the Hotel. Beautiful area and great food.

Food was amazing, outside was beautiful.
We ordered the onion rings, they were full of flavour and crunchy. Garlic aoli was excellent. Parmas were massive, full of flavour and the pepper & mushroom Gravy was excellent. Couldn’t rave anymore about the food.
