I do not know where to even begin with my review. I am a 31 year old woman who just got off the pill after being on it for over 15 years. I went to see Dr. Vanessa King in regards to the big changes I have noticed since being off the pill such as weight gain, facial hair and also a deep depression that I have never experienced before. On top of all of this I wanted to check my fertility as I am now 31 and it is something we should have the right to check as our chances decrease as we get older.
I left the consultation in tears as I felt completely dismissed by my concerns about my hormones and fertility and was advised that if I had fertility on my mind that I should either try for a baby or just go back on the pill. Then got told the reason why I have increase in facial hair is because of my European background and the weight gain she could not explain. My psychologist told me to go and see a gynaecologist after explaining my deep depression as it is a concern only for Dr. King to tell me that I should just let my partner hug me the next time I feel sad. Women’s health and fertility should not be dismissed nor only treated when a woman is ready to conceive a child. I know so many woman around me that have experienced issues with their fertility just because doctors are dismissing their concerns. I really hope if someone is reading this review that you please go find a different doctor that will listen and that you do not waste $300 to be told to go and cuddle your partner when you are sad and that just have a baby if you are concerned about your fertility.

It has taken me some time to write this review as I was left so upset and lost after my appointment with Dr Robinson. I had my appointment with Dr Robinson many months ago seeking some support with my PCOS and where to next. During my consultation it felt more as it I was getting assessed by a psychologist, we spent time talking about myself which was totally fine until Dr Robinson tried to give me diagnosis’ for things like ADHD, she then continued questioning if I had thought my sister had a failed in her life… not sure how this was relevant to PCOS? After my appointment I was left completely broken and more lost than when I went in. After seeing another specialist she was shocked I was not offered more such as bloods to investigate further. So disappointed I wasted time off work and a lot of money to go here!
