Capanno Trattoria Bar and Grill

We popped into this place to escape the rain, not expecting much since we didn’t have a reservation. But wow, were we in for a surprise! The staff was incredibly welcoming, finding us a cozy spot at the back. The service was just top-notch. And the food was excellent. The seafood pasta and pizza were spot-on, and the drinks and dessert were delicious. Plus, it was all reasonably priced. Can’t wait to go back and try more from their menu. This place is a real hidden gem that exceeded all our expectations.

A great Italian restaurant in Botany. Our group of adult and young children thoroughly enjoyed our dinner at this restaurant. Seating was spacious for our large group and staff were attentive with efficient and friendly service. Enjoyed the four cheese pizza, the squid ink risotto, the tomahawk steak and salt and pepper squid. All dishes were cooked to perfection. Highly recommended!

Seated in the bar area at the table, we were nice and cosy. Service was immediate without the wait. Food came out in a timely manner and was delish! We both had fish of the day with a glass of wine. Would be back soon.

The food was amazing! Absolutely everything we ordered was delicious! Arancini, pasta and desert. The staff were super friendly and the place is very cozy. I’ll definitely come back. Such a great experience.

Perfect experience. Very welcoming and attentive staff. We ordered the mixed grill with crackling pork and spit roast lamb which was to die for tender. The spaghetti marinara was just perfect. We dined with thefork offer and whilst the normal price is not cheap I would be happy to pay full price.

We visited the Restaurant on a Friday night and were greeted by a friendly and attentive staff. The restaurant has a cozy and rustic feel. The menu offers a variety of pizzas, pastas, salads, and desserts, all made with fresh and quality ingredients. There's also an awesome bar out the back. I'll be back soon.

Delicious food and quick and friendly staff.
We order bbq pork ribs, pizza and passion fruit mojito. Everything arrived in no time and it was delicious.

A delicious steak meal.
My colleague and I enjoyed two different cuts with veggies. There was a tasty mushroom sauce, but the meat was made just how I like it, but so tender there was no need.
Highly recommended their Friday, Saturday slow cook grill.

PS: We were in the pub nearby and even the regulars spoke of the juicy dinner feast.

An unpretentious facade hides a great little trattoria within. Fabulous service and delicious food.

Fantastic food, staff and ambiance.

One of the best mixed grill we have had , the pork belly was cooked perfectly, the lamb was slow cooked for seven hours and was so succulent and char grilled on the outside ,the grilled snapper was full of flavour , this is the second time we have eaten there and the first time it was an outstanding dinner as well.
We recommend this great hidden restaurant in Botany .

The flavours the texture of all the dishes I had tasted on the night were absolutely not faulted, quality produce and fine flavours, I did bring in my own combination Shiraz to ensure that the meal I ate complimented the wine, weather you ate meat, seafood or a vegetarian dish, it was all beyond the standards and expectations, I can't wait to be in Sydney again, however do book in advance to avoid disappointment. The team is quick and efficient, I just believe that the non English staff could be a little more empathetic towards the choices and decisions that I would make ;)

It was absolutely amazing. Started with pizzas and garlic prawns and then the masterpiece arrived. Tomahawks, scotch fillet, ribs, lamb and pork were to die for. Soft,melts in your mouth bursting with flavour. Couldn't get a decent picture as everyone started to hack into it as as the smorgasbord came to the table. The salad and veges complemented the meat nicely. Can't wait to go again!

Service was excellent and the food was divine! Your chocolate brownie was indeed heavenly. Can I give you 6 stars!!!
