TAB Magpie & Stump Hotel

I've been here a couple times. But this last time with chef Matt's perfectly cooked steak was amazing. It has to be the best steak I've had eating out. The atmosphere is second to none and it has plenty of fun for the kids. Can't wait to come back again

The fish & chips was excellent, the fish is fresh tasting & the batter is crispy, so much for us to go back the next week.
We are back again 3weeks in a row now. Definitely worth the drive up from Craigieburn for the fish

Friendly bar staff and porterhouse cooked perfect for a thick cut, very tender.

Nice place to pop in for a beer and a punt

A great place I had the pie floater was amazing and my partner had the burger all of a great standard highly recommended this place

If you want the best fish and chips around do yourself a favour and call in to the Magpie & Stump Hotel for lunch or dinner the portions you get are ginormous and the staff are ever so friendly and make you feel really welcome

Loved this place!! Great menu of generous and delicious meals in an authentic country pub atmosphere with a gorgeous fireplace.Our group of six all loved our meals ! It will definitely become a regular dining out option!!

Cannot speak any higher about this place. Food is always great, every day, every time!!! Kids meals are never great wherever we go but here they're as good as the mains and portions are large enough for a grown man. The pork cutlet is an absolute must to have, but have tried many dishes and they're all top tier quality. Pricing is really fair, and considering the quality and portions I'd say it's on the 'cheap for what you get' end of the scale.
Do not go past this place, you will not regret it.

Meal was absolutely terrible!!
Worst meal we’ve had there!!

Just moved to area, first experience during lockdown so ordered and picked up! Absolutely blown away by how delicious the food was (don’t get me started on the crunchy crackling 🤤). Will definitely be covid regulars and look forward to visiting when it can reopen!

Great Food everytime, so happy we booked to celebrate my oartners birthday with our 2 children.

Country pub with a great feel, friendly staff and amazing food! Wasn’t expecting much from a pub in an out of the way place like Wandong but was pleasantly surprised how good the food was and the relaxing atmosphere to dine in. Highly recommended I’ll be back again
