Maple Park Farm

Chanced upon Maple Park when I was searching for a dog friendly holiday accomodation. My children and furbaby enjoyed themselves thoroughly and I highly recommend this place if you are looking for a relaxing and nature getaway. Right in front of the tent there are 2 horses who will come right up to the front of the tent for a good pat/food, and in the late afternoon or early morning you can find some kangaroos at the back of the tent. We managed to catch the first sunrise of 2024 from the tent. Michael and his daughter Lily were such great host and went all out to make our stay a very pleasant and comfortable one. The tent and kitchenette is very well equipped and Lily came by with basket of fresh fruits and vege from the farm and played a game of treasure hunt with my children! The beds were comfortable , and even my puppy enjoyed hers!

What a find! For parents who want a break, not the travel, who want to reconnect with friends, family and nature but not sacrifice your creature comforts, Maple Park Farm is just the spot. Dome and Safari tent / hut fit the “glamping” bill with everything you need and more. The views were serene and sublime. The fenced off tents were perfect for our dog. We stayed with two families and dog. Our city kids got a kick out of seeing local kangaroos, feeding the choirs and horses ushered by the hosts’ child. NIL SCREEN TIME!!! Hosts were the best - friendly and ever helpful. Thank you for making our family break a ⭐ ⭐ ⭐ ⭐ ⭐ joy! We’ll be back.

Maple Park Farm was our first Farm stay, and it was great! The facilities are all there as listed, but better! We were lucky as the fire restriction was not on yet, so could lit up the fire pit, which was the cherry on top. The tent looks much better than the photos, more like a magical place on the valley!

Now about the animals, there are lots of horses, infact 2 of them are on the field infront of the tent! They are very loving and interacting like the other horses in the premises. The farm has 2 playful goats, and also some chickens and ducks. It's really hard to express what a fun it was to pick eggs for breakfast, or veg from garden, or feeding the animals. My son went crazy!

Finally, the host, I think, Michael, Fiona, and Lily, is one of the best host families! They are very welcoming, and they did everything to make our stay comfortable and enjoyable. In fact they treated us so well that, my 6-year-old son wrote a loving review for them, in the review book! They are very considerate; they even changed the breakfast platter based on our preferences! They are very prompt and efficient in communication.

WOW! What a great way to spend a few days to unwind and relax, would highly recommend staying in the dome tent. Loved relaxing in the spa bath and really enjoyed the breakfast they provided with their eggs straight from their chicken pen. We thoroughly enjoyed feeding the horses, they were super friendly especially the black horse as he comes running with excitement.

Absolutely love glamping in the Safari Tent! Amazing place to wake up to. Everything is thoughtfully provided for including the amenities and facilities (including strong wifi) , even a cheese and breakfast platters.

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The hosts were very welcoming and accommodating for us and our 5 year old daughter. Our daughter really enjoyed feeding the chickens and the horses. We booked the Safari Tent which was equipped with toilet, shower, kitchen (electric frypan, microwave, fridge, cutlery and dinnerware, bbq grill and stovetop), TV, firepit and outdoor furniture. We are not usual campers so this was a good first step experience to transition. Our daughter was teary when we had to leave which says a lot about her positive experience. Would recommend for anyone.

Farm is huge where my fur baby had fun, we loved feeding friendly horses. Didn't believe we would have so many facilities inside a geosedic dome( Ac/heater, modern bathroom shower, toiletries, bbq machine, chandlier). Can't wait to visit again 😀

Excellent glamping experience. We went here recently with our baby and had a wonderful time. Excellent views, lots of farm animals to see and excellent amenities. Lots of local attractions like Kilmore Goal and the Monument Hill tower. It's a great getaway.

We absolutely loved our stay at Maple Park Farm. We stayed in the safari tent and everything you could think of was accommodated for. From start to finish Michael was so quick to respond to any questions we had and greeted us upon arrival, walking us up to the tent and getting to know us a bit before leaving us to enjoy our stay. We especially loved patting the horses on the farm, the beautiful sunrises/sunsets, the delicious welcome platter (best mustard pickles ever) and how comfortable and cosy the tent itself was. We will be recommending Maple Park Farm to all of our friends and hope to be back very soon! Thank you again to Michael and the fam! X
